Some Technical Help With Speakers.
Gandalf the Yellow replied to Gandalf the Yellow's topic in Chit Chat
no so it's got no input in the amp at the moment.. still buzzes. volume is not 'on' at the moment but when i turn it up it'll buzz, its an external amp so not built in to the sub.. but if there's no volume then they're quiet as fook. but it also means there's no music... won't be in warranty the set is about 5+ year old lol.. so what else can i do? it doesn't sound like an earthing issue steve -
Some Technical Help With Speakers.
Gandalf the Yellow replied to Gandalf the Yellow's topic in Chit Chat
tried it with nothing plugged in. just the speakers themselves. IF it is something to do with the earth, what can i do to stop it? steve -
right it's been 2 days and it's pissing me off. moved from home to uni the other day and obviously had to unplug everything and plug it back in. if anyone knows more about this then please give me advice as that why this is happening NORMALLY - the set does need a 15 min warm up otherwise all 5 surround will make strange noises. but after warm up it sounds great.. since the move i've had exact same set up, nothing wrong with power supply, but it's been buzzing/screaming at me every time i switch it on and turn it up, even after i let it on standby for hours, then switch on the amp for a 15 min usual warm up. now i've disconnected it from the mains and see if it helps. anyone tell me what else i should be doing to stop the noise/buzzing? cheers steve

words can't describe this video. i think im starting to feel dizzy................ so much creativity, fantastic lines and its sooooo enjoyable to watch compared to using TGS we get on here. steve

sorry for the late-ish reply i moved back to uni so had a few things to sort out. smo, its not going to be spot on so you'll need to do some working out when it comes to doing it, im trying my best as simplified chinese really ain't my thing, plus im still hungover so what goes in is what comes to mind straight away... underlined ones might be wrong. step 1: firstly download cheat engine software. (warning: something about the file 'could' contain a virus but it doesn't? if you don't trust the link you can search for an alternative host to download it from) if the link doesn't work then you'll have to search for cheat engine yourself to download. step 2: after installation, open cheat engine, from a small computer icon. step 3: inside select hl_client.exe step 4: click OK step 5: in the value type box, change to text step 6: under 'text' enter your name/nickname step 7: click first scan step 8: in the 'address value' inside will appear some english (lol) these are internal addresses there are green and black, green is base value? amend green's standard name then it'll change back?? step 9: double click the green value thing 'address value' step 10: click the green value in the address value, at the very bottom will appear your name/nickname. step 11: change your name to ※天空之城 then click OK for the rest. i think thats it, see if it helps smo.. steve

i would help but thats in simplified so even if i gave it a shot it'd hardly make any sense.. however i can read traditional (big5).. looks like a software upgrade instruction, what is it and why is it in chinese if you don't mind me asking? steve edit: is it just the step by step instruction you need translating? cos the other bit i stand no chance as i have no idea what it's actually about.

so many members and hardly any birthday greetings! god it doesn't hurt to type a few words for the birthday boy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY. have a mega one. steve
-
yep. mine's naturally 'in a curve' but the index does stick out a little more than the others... don't think im ride as much as you though. steve
-
umm pretty much what others have said so far. there's big moves and like your style of riding, its smooth.. though think that 1.10 worth of video would have been more enjoyable if there's no techno if you get rid of those horrible zooming. steve
-
watched this the other day but didn't post cos was round gf's and can't be arsed to log in... anyway it's a sweet as video, so relaxed, good atmosphere i bet... good to see it turned out to be a mega day for those who went steve

cool cool. looks like you guys put up a good show.. nick, your wheels look bent as f**k when you're doing 360 off the platform..haha. steve
-
exactly. sorry henrik for stealing your video post steve

yep thats how most trials rims out there doesn't give a good build in comparison to something like a EX721, they're not awesome because there's no advantage having the rim just pinned and not welded together except to make it weaker...and cheaper obvs. trials rims are so rubbish it doesn't need a close look you can tell they're shite from a distance! anyway, before anyone picks up on... the fact i run trials rims is because i need wide rims.. so not by choice really. steve
-
16?? are you having a laugh. he's actually a monster. total monster. steve..............................
-
117? they're crap. think they're just pinned together was good riding dude! loves the riding on the dawg as well..or whatever it was. bet that makes your trials bike ride like a dream after... steve
-
the whole editing thing seems well done and professional, it worked well, but i think because of the rider's style which became more apparent once you get into the riding it the intro doesn't seem to look as good. shame really... it's a really good effort. and he's a brilliant rider. smooooth and still big. steve
