Any News On Akriggs Signature Frame?
The Foamoi Refresher replied to trialsguru's topic in Trials Chat
doesnt look much like a trials frame to me, may just be me being a retard, but it also looks not much like the bike hes been riding with mongoose stickers on it just confused anyone see the mongoose frame he was riding at the bike show last year, talked to him for a couple of minutes, but he didint say anything about it, he said it was a secret, he wasnt giving anything away still confused luisio -
yeh, the trialskings! and trials-rider man they were awesome video's, much more interesting than most (90%) of trialsvideos i see today they were just so damn good, i wish they were still around making video's today they were just obscene luisio

ash, its not donny's video, so who cares? headchops? who cares? there are ZERO rules about making a trials video, if you were going to make a sitcom, there are rules for it, if you change them they wouldnt be a sitcom. trials video's, have no narrative, they just show the riding, thats what the emphesis is on, so you can do basically whatever you want untill someone makes something out of this world, as a trials video, no one has anything to really follow by been trying this at uni, incorporating narrative into a trials video, something thats has a real 'in a film makers sence' structure andy's video is well good, shows what trials can be, exciting! and that makes it a good video, luisio

go 24, it is the way forward, but not for uci riding, it just wouldnt make sence its getting away from the whole point of getting a 24"bike! just no no no no no, get a leeson 609, i need one myself, as my ashton is getting fooked, but has lasted so well, 24 is amazing, for street, but if your gunna be doing uci stuff on it, i just wouldnt bother 24 is for whatever you want it to be, but a 24"uci bike would just suck in my opinion, what would the point be? luisio

thank you bongo, that will be the future of trials, IT WILL thats the kind of stuff i have been trying lately, take the x-up, in the air of a drop, has been done what about turndowns, look so cool, been trying them, learning on bmx first barspins, 180 crankflips, 360's, g-turns, x-up toothpick stalls? there are so many tricks out there, that no one has tried bringing to trials yet all that sort of stuff, but still with trials riding, should be about controll, like wayne has said, perfection is going to be the big thing in trials i think, being able to be amazingly consistent with the most out of this world tricks thats why i dont really see myself as a trials-rider anymore, is there anyone else who feels the same? it has just got too booring for me, and i have tried to look at things differently, its damn hard is the problem to look at a line, and think about the last thing you would see on it, tech stuff is going to be the future, and having it dialed to a fine art luisio

The Next Big Star In Trials
The Foamoi Refresher replied to wilky_mod_legend2's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
i would already say they are some of the biggest names, these guys can ride, f**king well too, forgetting dan jones, he is an awesome rider, the shit he can do.... james olivier, a jersey boy, f**k me, as soon as he gets his act together and shows off his stuff, you will be amazed. he has been good for ages but no-one knows who he is. there are plenty of amazing riders out there, but they just havent been seen yet, i cant wait to see what trials has to bring, its such an amazing sport hopefully danny h will have an amazing comeback, back in th trialskings days . . . . .jesus! there are just too many amazing riders to list luisio -
has no one ever done media, at A-level, or at uni? did it at a-level, not doing it at uni all you guys argue about it, but its called style of editing, thought that vid was the best ive seen in ages f**king brilliant it shows you everything, you supposed to imagine the rest really, you dont have to see a massive gap from the biggest angle for it to look good, i would rather see more video's like that on tf top notch andy, really really enjoyed it, shame about some of the head chops but who cares? loved the music, and the edits to suit it, fast passed action, its these kinds of video's that are going to grab more interest, well good. shows how exciting trials can be, and it is and was nice to see a crankflip in there too, good one dan jones luisio

i agree ash, street trials is coming back, but i see the only way for trials to get big, is for it to be cool people need to see it, and think, yeah! i wana do that, i dont like all this sidehops, taps and shite, it is amazing how big some people can go now, but it is so repetitve watching a video with 15sidehops, and 10 taps it just gets boring! trials should be well more interesting to the public, and everyone, i remember at the base bikes tryouts, dj doing a crankflip of that skip (those who were there wil remember, oct 2003), and also that 180 he did of the skip, was insane back then, barely anyonedoes that now, what happened to being creative, and learning all these tech tricks we argue alot about the difference in styles in trials, from long low and silver to fast and agressive, trials is growing apart from itsself. i dont really like 'trials' anymore. i think its shit, but i love riding street, trying to invent new moves, and linking different stuff together, trying new things, i hate the way trials is now, it was just so much more fun two years ago. personally i dont see myself as a trials rider anymore, i just mess around having fun, doing what i enjoy, and what i think 'looks' cool on a bike. even having no seat, people walk past and say, 'whats that, a kids bike your riding' where's you seat, people need to be able to relate to it, and see it as a cool sport, or its just going to go know where. rant over, piss on my bomfire all you guys want, i dont care, luisio

i had one, it broke, quickly too, the springs in them are still shite, went back to using a mech as a tensioner most tensioners seem to brake well easily, but the rohloff looks well nice, and for the price im sure its going to be worth it, heard loads of positive feedback about them luisio

well not really, depends on what your metabelism is like, and how you can handle alcohol. different poeple have different tolerences to drinking, some people may be able to have 3pints and still be under the legal limit and others may only have half a pint and be over the limit, your wrong luisio

LMAO hahahahaha, thats the funniest thing ive seen in ages! excellent luisio

speeding=dangerous simple as that, unless its in a controlled envionmet(formula 1, etc), but even then speeding is still dangerous, and people die because of it really you have to investigate every case, to see wether its the drivers, or the victims fault, speeding is f**king stupid, do not agree with it one bit.just shouldnt be done on the roads luisio
