  1. Today is the day. I'll be sure to pass on all the messages.
  2. It is with great sadness that I am writing this post. Sue Jones (DJ's Mum) has asked me to make this post, (she is unable to get on to the forum). For those that knew DJ you would have known his Dad Charlie, and would have had the pleasure of meeting him on numerous occasions particularly on the memorial rides. Unfortunately whilst on holiday in Teneriffe Charlie suddenly became ill and unexpectedly passed away on the 28/10/2016. Sue welcomes anyone that wants to get in touch with her. *An update from Sue* Today we have finally managed to arrange a date for Charlie's funeral. 21/11/2016 @ 12:00 at Trinity Church, Conduit Road, Abingdon with a get together afterwards at Abingdon United FC. Anyone who would like to come along would be made very welcome. Take care Sue and family x
  3. I was game for Curborough before but we unfortunately had the double booking issue, but certainly still up for it again.
  4. Same as you, I was thinking why's this been refunded, checked here and saw the news.
  5. Ah that's shit. Without taking another day off none of those dates work, but will follow to see what the consensus and decide then if I can do it.
  6. Yeah, got the day off work sorted today, so I'm all good for it, count me in. I'll contact Luke to sort money.
  7. I saw Mikey Pond this evening, he mentioned this track time you guys have been organising. If there's no space left then I'd definitely be up for the next one. Little disappointed Prawn kept this so close to his chest.
  8. Doesn't seem like the fine was enough. No amount of money can make up for loss of someone's life, but even so 80k fine seems like a slap on the wrist.
  9. It would be either Sunday 11th May or Sunday 18th May.But Matt Purdon said he would speak to Dj's parents before organising anything.
  10. I know what you mean, I was surprised when I read it. I thought his punishment was much worse than that. It is sad to think he will have been able to drive for the past four years, aside from the criminal record and possibly the memory of his actions, he can live his life as he pleases. It doesn't seem right.
