  1. yep, dunno why. btw, the guy is infact a girl
  2. Not sure but a friend of mine who works with similar systems for cars and obviously knows a fair bit about this kind of things told me that many brake liquids can react ( get damaged, not sure how exactly) with sunlight and that you shouldn't use transparent hosing... but wtf, this is for a bike (Y) And it's good to be able to see if theres air in the hoses... maybe not an useful post, but someone might have heard something about this before?
  3. A mod with v-brake mounts (Y) that was a while ago, wasnt it? And a seat! I know beginners mods still have got them, but this frame doesnt look too cheap/bad... Some of you comp people might remember ROTOR? Anyway, the yaabaa 20" looks very similar to, ehm, most mod frames, but especially the Rotor... might just be the sadle and the paintjob though... btw,the stock looks boring.
  4. Hi. Sorry about not replying very fast... I'll take some photos of the area next time I go there. I think that will be tomorrow, not sure though. Peter

  6. to have the AE a little darker is cool, really gets the feeling of a cave :o nice riding too :P
  7. it will be too darn repetitive to make another one, im bored of riding in there... you can expect an outdoor one soon, the snow is almost gone now. downloading should be ok :o dont know why it isn't... what browser are you using? i just got a new host, unlimited bandwidth... now when Johan's uploaded his latest this is almost turning into a competition :P
  8. hej hej this will be my last video from Area 51, the indoor place. one more will be repetitive, but i still think you should download this one :P tried my best to make something nice :P page : www.peterbackgren.com videos page here thats good enough for you lazy people out there... replies, thanks... Peter
  9. Within Temptation, a month ago. was Great  hope to see Morbid Angel , Kreator and Dark Tranquility, but i wont efford it
  10. all these trials-boots are made because there is a silly rule in the BIU rules saying you have to wear ancle-protecting shoes... silly because the shoes dont really protect more than a pair of socks would do... i'd say that BIU( * monty *) made that rule when monty shoes were the only option :D
  11. the cheaper canon's suck! poor picture quality (horrible for low light, as indoor or evenings) , bad wide angle :( I'd recommend a Sony cam, a TRV33E off eBay would be great. it's from their second last series , but still a great camera.
  12. do so :) its quite cheap, around 70 quid to fly with ryanair , both ways including bike. there are other good spots to ride here to, stay for a week or so, would be awesome (Y) If interested, go to the Europeans and stay for a week after :) i'm sure we can arrange that. /Peter
  13. honestly, i dont know what pads they are :( i got them on the alu-backings i bought. i think they are Plazmatic, transparent ones so i believe they're spanish flys. song is: At the Gates - Unto The Dead Sky . from the "Slaughter of the Soul" album. cheers for the replies B) Peter
  14. tip: run gpedit.msc and block "Windows Update" , so it doesnt bothers you any more
  15. weld it  you wont be able to open it , if you dont grind away the welding, but that doesnt matter. spray lube it whenever needed. works fine. could show where to weld, if thats not obvious.
  16. in the video i uploaded form the indoor trial in Gothenburg there is a clip of Anders Kolpen on bak wheel with front wheel spinning. ive watched that clip a few times now, it looks really nice :P www.peterbackgren.com/vids/2hjul.wmv "for educational purpose" :-
  17. i rode some street in Alingsås, only 20 km's from here, and it cost me almost 10 quid to take the train. :- ... well I ride with myself or Johan Brundin, but there are 5 more riders around here who I ride with sometimes.
  18. if using the pedals to sidehop onto, platform pedals dont provide the same grip on the egdes as cage ones do. platforms last longer, dont get worn down in the same way. some of them has "studs" for grip, which you can replace. the vp caged pedals get worn down , and many riders have problems with them cracking.
  19. you dont think of Tartybikes when saying "other shops" do you :P :P" ? it says 31 quid incl. postage, so posting costs 6 pounds within UK ,right ?
  20. blueys might be 6", we dont have them here so i dont know :P gurra is talking about standard EU pallets, which are 15 cm's (IMO they're 14.5 cm's, but that's not important...)
  21. I thought I'd go out and try the night mode for a while, and made a quite nice little video. Have a look. Here it is :S cheers Peter :D
