I've always used to call them helicopter drops.
-
yeah they barely count...

Stuff like that can just be store policy, like Pizza hut won't serve alcohol to 16 year olds with a meal, even though it's legal.

get audacity off download.com and select "what u hear" from the record drop down box. you might have to download something else to encode it as mp3 for ringtones, but it's just a dll file called lame_enc.dll i think, it tells you where to put it.

They really had a banner saying "Europe, your 9/11 will come"? Are they f**king retarded? Look how well everything's going since that catastrophe, look how we're all turning to Islam, wooooo... They're not even trying to convert people, this whole "kill the infidel" thing is racist, animalistic, just plain f**king wrong. IMO people like that should be deported/imprisoned, they don't deserve to be here. Bring on the peace loving muslims, I've just got no time for fanatics of any variety about anything at all. As soon as you stop seeing both sides of any argument, you're f**ked.

It's a bit unfair of you guys to keep asking things like "what happens when we die?" to these guys, I hardly imagine they're an authority on the subject (no disrespect). It seems like a bit of a cheap shot. That said, I'm not a religious person in any way shape or form, in fact I really dislike religion. To me the way that beliefs keep being revised to adapt to the modern way of life is evidence enough (IMO) that this stuff was created as a means to gain social power, possibly by people who really believed it, possibly maliciously. I can't see that is makes any difference to be honest. My uncle (who through some bizarre divorces etc. is a year younger than me) has "found god" this last year and it worries my mum and his parents more than if they'd found out he was doing drugs, and I think that demonstrates well enough that some pretty big cracks are appearing as our eyes get sharper and we start to see more inconsistencies with religion. How did the once accepted way of life become something that people would actually find uncomfortable, possibly scary? How many people here get really edgy when talking to christians (sorry guys, you're the worst in my experience) about belief/fate/whatever because they're going to go off on some huge mission in defence of what they believe? I personally think that society is slowly progressing beyond the need for religion as a way to plug the holes, and that although faith has postive effects, the bad far outweighs the good.

If he lives in portsmouth then he's already about as south as you can get before you're french!

I don't normally like spirits, but Southern Comfort straight up is hard to beat

It'd be possible if you had good quality images of all the parts from the same angle, but what are the odds of that? It's a long shot to say the least...

What pads are you using? Pretty much anything should hold with a grind and tar, my only guess is that you've not got any force pushing the brakes onto the rim and need a new bleed or a booster.
-
Metal tyre levers are they way forward! Use about three and really make sure you've pushed them hard down to the bottom of the bead before you start levering away, work your way around in 3-4" gaps using the spoke hook thingies. This way involves the least effort, which is probably a good thing if you're already knackered

the mission rides nicer, both will snap quickly. you'd be way better off with a second hand echo or something

Was is that split link that snapped? I've never snapped a kool chain personally, but I'd never use a split link, just nowhere near as strong as joining the chain properly. KMC gets my vote

Says it's designed for trials bike on the page, gotta be a good thing! Heavy as hell though, time to get that drill out

In reply to Wayne, wasn't there talk of Ashton sueing Deng or the Coustelliers at some point because they stole the 'spine' seat-tube idea? Guess he didn't patent it or something, it must be a bitch to get something like that patented though. That's a very special case though, I'd never sue a company because a part broke on me, unless it burst into flames or something ridiculous.

End of Heartache from those few, but Fixation on the Darkness gets my overall vote

Avast from Alwil Software is pretty damn mint, automatic updates and all that shizzle. It finds pretty much everything.

I'm currently running a 160mm Magura Louise, it's an old style one ('03 I think), and I want to get a bigger rotor on it. I used to run a 190mm Magura rotor on there but I snapped my Koxx Forxx, which have a +30mm mount, so I had to downgrade to a 160mm on my Urbans. This is nowhere near as good! So basically, I'm looking for +20 and a new rotor (Aztec are supposed to be good aren't they?) or possibly a +30 adaptor if they exist so I go back to my 190mm rotor. Price isn't an issue but I'd like something that gets the job done cheap as long as it doesn't compromise on function. Cheers guys

From Phil's earlier post I'd guess that Selectbikes sell them

Right, UCI is basically a new rule set that came in. The main difference between UCI and BIU (the older Monty endorsed/run one) is that in UCI using your bashguard or pedals counts as a dab in competitions. This has lead to loads of new bikes with very high BBs to give you more clearance over obstacles, and because high BBs make the bike feel shorter than normal BBs, most high BB frames are pretty long as well (1075 at least). Hope that helps

Force yourself to change, it's just better to have your bad foot closest to the wall, means you can go higher.
