  5. I know! lol! but I want a good brake, meaning theres a need to grind. I guess its only on the front. don't matter too much if it slips a bit.
  6. don't want to hack away with the grinder on my front rim! thats the main reason! Even if I don't like the vee i haven't ruined the look of the front wheel. My dad have a few (at least 3 more) wheel I could use, Mavic rims too! all XC rims though!
  7. Thanks for that Guys! Going to get some Viz forks at the end of the month. Going to play it save and get the faced too. Going to get the Vee version I think. Do they come with the studs? Them later on get a cheapo wheel and try out front vee brake. Thanks again.

  9. SHIT sorry double post!!
  10. I snapped my forks today! . So I'll be needing some new ones. I rang tarty today for a bit of advice on the Atmoz forks. Cannot be bothered with faffing about with different rotors and adaptors. So that's them out the of the question Don't know who I spoke to but he said that the Viz forks are holding up well. They look really nice. Only thing is they have that funky top can thing. Is it threaded all the way down. Just that they'll need cut and If there not threaded what can I do? Also there's the Echo Control (2007) forks. They look nice. Just a bit worried that they wont cope with 203mm rotor. Id like a 4 bolt mounts too, as I may want to try one out in the summer. Which ones the better fork? Whats the warrenty on them both?
  11. Well not that new! Only 4-5 years old. Done me well. Been riding them like that for about 5-6 months. Doin a lot of front wheel stuff, glad I found it now! before it was too late and lost teeth!! Well and truly gutted!! Atmoz??
  12. On a shooter? was in 2000 i was Ten and the T-mag was in final prototype. Had a go on it. Remember like it was yesterday! lol
  13. Heard mixed reviews. Some people swear by them, some people hate the. If you have the coin, get either a profile or a king (only if your minted) What about fixed rear, and get a free wheel on the front? Had Tensile freewheel on both my mods and felt as good as my ProII Never skipped once. Cheap as chips too. I had a go on my mates bike. That had a Try-All one on. Felt like it was going to skip, and was too quite.
  14. Nice one!!!! Also there Bike Dock Wiggle Evans etc etc
  15. I never go in there section! It took me ages to work my way out! not going back in!!!!! lol If it were more organised. Like a lil section for vids, pics, etc etc BUt that would too much!
  16. Nicest bike ever?? What gearing he running 18/15?
  17. Could be pads, File them down so its a new surface. Get somne new pads, soft ones will be better on a smooth rim. Set the brake up correct. And also Post it the correct forum!!

  21. Deng used it on the Echo Control (i think) And he didn't charge too much for his frames. Any one clear that up??
  22. Chris Holmes (i think thats what its called) Uni cycle rim?? There 36 hoel? Or wait unbtil the Echo 36 hole comes out if ur a real basher!!!
  23. I was browsing on Tarty and I saw a pair of VIZ bars. (V!Z Pro700 Riser) It says: "-Up-swept shape offers improved comfort, control and cockpit room when tilted forwards, or a slightly more 'streety' feel when tilted back. - 10 degree backsweep with 11 degree upsweep." But the monty bars (white ones) say the same: "- Up-swept shape offers improved comfort, control and cockpit room when tilted forwards, or a slightly more 'streety' feel when tilted back. - 10 degree backsweep with 11 degree upsweep." Will the both feel the same? Also whats the difference these and these? just the colour & price? Also I have a 74 kings tensioner, it works brill. only thing is if recently noticed that my wheel seems to be sitting over to the left. ALMOST touching the left chain stay. If it moves any more than 3-4 mm it wil hit. The wheel is ture and centered, Is this because of the tensioner? The trye is seated correctly too. Tar!
