My BB7 2007 is shot. Cracked, and generally dead. =[ I will be needing a new one. Just wondered what to go for. Either another BB7 or move on. and get a Hope hydro disc? I'm unsure about hydros. as I've had bad experiences with them in the past. They never held fluid and never worked. (but they were both second hand) My options are: BB7 2008 BB72007 Rear (just put on the front, Would it work???) Hope Trials disc. Something from the Magura range. I like having bite and hold, and something thats going to slow me down on hills!! . But my avid has lacked that since I put a new disc on. WHat are the advantages of hydro discs over cable? I really dont want to spend a fortune. Thanks!!!

been running KMC chains for the past few years (both thick and thin) NEVER had one snap on me. Also had a KHE was too thick for my chain splitter though.

I rang tarty and asked if a Star nut fit, Which Yes, an Echo one. SO it can be run like "normal" forks. I f**ked the allen bolt!! Trust me! eh!

That's what vees do matey! Got mine sorted now: Put new cable in, lubes it up. and used two thicker spacers / washer things. Hitting correct now. Also used some glue. The cyanoacrylate stuff.

Tape been all juddery and shit, what can I do? there isnt much on iot. New tapes??

I love sailing! Only in Greece though Couldnt stand being in frezzin water. Been about 6 time to Nidri! Its so dam good. and once to Croatia. I cwouldnt mind trying out surfing, and wake boarding. Mite go traveling later in life to Oz. Greece: Mljet / Croatia The green arrows: top one, our room was just below the arrow. The bottom one, thats were the boats were kept. I was sailing a lazer one. Been sailing in Keswick before was too cold. Loads of wind though!!!

I havent read all the posts, but all I can say is why the big fuss? You know whats the specs going to be. The most expensive parts. If the guy whos getting it hasnt bothered to get there its his loss, I would have got the train down and stayed in a hotel to get it. NOT because I "bum" them just because they have gone out of there way to do something for me. It the least I could do.

ISIS! Moved from Square taper to ISIS almost 2 years ago. after gapping onto my cranks. and rounding them off. (bent the cranks too) SO I up graded to a cheap ISIS bb and a middleburn crank set. Still runnig the same cranks to this day!!!!

I've been having a lil problem with my vee setup. Its working great. Its just that the pads done sit on the rim correct. There too low. and I cannot move them up any further as there as the top on the slot in the break arm. The image is only there until I get a chance to take a quick snap of it . The other (cannot remember which side it is) Is fine. Is it the wheel that’s not centred? I will check when I get my truing from my dads. Also the arm (avid speeddial 7) the tiny "post" that goes into the small hole in the forks/ adaptors keeps coming off. NOT snapped, but loose. Traty said that a spoke has worked for him in the past. I tried this. and it was too thin. Can I just glue it in? will it be okay? what glue to use? Help would be great!!!!

I wouldn't like to spend money on a frame that ones given a review on, As for the Zoo! dont like them, And apparently they ride pants. Havent ridden a Base, But there cheap and chips. Get one, If you dont like it. No lost much money. What about. Echo Control short? Ashton Justice (if you can get hold of one) Leeson? Curtis? there really expensive though.

I Havent/didnt have a problem with the Echo cranks that I had, I was running a free wheel on the front with a bash then no bash, All I done was to cut the bash down, so It acted like a spacer. Can you not get in touch with Panpa and say that you got the x months ago, and justr came back from injury. Maybe they wil be sympathetic.....
