NOithing wrong with burns, had mine over 4 years with no problems. onhly reason for getting the echo ones was \i wanted a smaller bash guard. and to try out gear ratios.......
-
gu looks well nice. hows the vee doing\?

My greens are awesome. and on grinds lasting. Echo 2007 rims are good for keeping the grind. Even better is Mavics.

More good points though! like free drink. I work In halfords on Bikehut/cycles. Also work in a pub, I get £38.50 for a 6-12 shift, which flies by. so I'm not fused. USE to get EMA as well ehich was £30 a week, but I cannot be arsed going into sixthform anymore. so lost £30 a week! aw well!! (no all the people not getting EMA are going to have a go at me!)

On my rear wheel there was at least 5 fairly loose spokes, yet the wheel was still relatively true. Im not the smoothest of riders and the rim still held up. Not the spokes are tight, true to about 1mm movment each way. so im happy. Front wheel that I built was shocking. wheel was true and everything, spokes were very tight. flexed like a bitch though, Got a new front wheel spokes are tight, not as tight as the one I built, and no wheel flex. Maybe a little. WHat going on there? F*ck nose!!

I wouldnt like to use 160mm on a stock. 185 on a stock is good though. 203 is even better. My brake hasnt been any trouble. slow me down going down hills and locks up on front wheel moves, not MUCH modulation though! its all in the set up though. if you need an adaptor and a disc fire me a PM and ill sort you one out!!!

My rim split, dented and cracked before it needed trued. Tarty is a LegEnd

New Driving Laws, Rumours, Truth Or Guess-work?
Matthew_Gibson replied to David's topic in Chit Chat
Mine went up to £22 as my cars a diesel. My mum DID go halfs as I can pennyless I've had almost a year of driving lessons, and I can say that I feel better off. At least If I do anything wrong its fed back to me, so I can do something about it. But people who pass ofter 4 lessons, what good did passing quick do them. Apart from being able to brag. IMO everyone should be made to take at least 6 months worth of lessons. But I think not being able to drive before and after a certain time is a bit crap. For example. If your taking the missus to the pics, and it gets out at 10.30-11. you see some mate who were going to walk home. you can't offer then a lift. SO they could be in dangour of bein mugged/raped/ etc etc (you get the pic) but if you offered them a lift and got stopped they wouldnt give a shit. theyll just want you to pay up. There getting pretty tight in my town, if you are cort driving around Mc Donalds at a certain time, if you are pissing about you can spend the night in the cells. If you do buy anything. you have 30 mins to eat it and go home. -
Pads: Koxx Greens Time used: Just over 2 week Rim used: Echo 2007 Grind: Sure thing - Light. After a week Sharpish still light though Brake used: magura standard hosing etc, Echo booster, Water bled. What is your opinion of a working brake: Nice and bitey, Shed loads of hold. Nice noise helps REVIEW: Set up the pads, all square, and hitting at the same time. Had a play in the garden with a few back hops. The seemed to work well. Went and had a play about on a few curbs, Never slipped. So i had confidence in them and moved ion a 6foot gap, pulled it off 1st time, pads just held. dont seem to too bad. Only thing that would make them better is noise, at the moment they make a swooshing noise, but yet there pretty bitey. They need time to bed in so I will edit when I have had a half decent ride later on to night. Let them bed in, and about 0.5 to 1mm of material was removed before they got any better. Once they had beded in, they are really nice. Hold is great, bite suffers a little. Sharpend up the grind and its was fine. bit improved loads. and the hold just got better, used them in the wet too and they still held 110%. will be betting another get on these. Have some Koxx reds to try out next. should be even better (fingers crossed)
