I was stripping my hub to give it a clean and a fresh lube up. And I noticed that there were sort of marks on the free hub body. Should I be worried about them? Also there was shard of metal in the pawls. Long thin bits, when I say long I mean about 1cm. Supplied pics so you know what I’m talking about Also how do I remove the bearing from the free hub body?

woo someone liked it!! it looked better on the camera, i used ovie maker and the camera I have is a wide angle one so it messes the sizes up. thanks for the comments though lads

YEa another one for start times. JUst need sundays though! Dad doesnt get in untill 7 on sunday morning. Its only about a 2.5 hour drive though. He can get a few hours sleep

BE A MAN! and grind that rim!! Hold it at the shallowest angle, and hardly touch the rim, will work good, did for me with Rock Green pads. Best way to clean the rim, grind the pads too.
