  1. but why not just get a stock?? is there that much difference? Or have a short, low bb stock with a seat. theres loads that spring to mind. Pashley, Giant Hawes rep, Leeson(if there still made) all the Phase series are short correct? they will ride similar to 24" "natty" bikes?
  2. change the pads then. could be contaminated and boil the disc to properly clean it Did u just "flop" the diaphram on? your suppose to "roll" it on,
  3. the one i made will hopefully do the job. dont see the need in spending £9 or somthing that might not work... time will tell
  4. Made one today at work with an old boilt its way too big, But I'm doing to whack in oln a lathe and get rid of some weight... Its the bolts on the Left! LOL!
  5. REET. Brakes have started to get a bit misty around the crossover pipe. Because my feet keep hittin them when riding. so Im wanting to reroute the hose threw the frame (Onza Ice) Im going to drill a hole in the back end of the frame so the hose comes right out the back. and put a monty hose splitter on there. gettin rid of the cross over pipe. are they any good? a pain to get in? I will be using the hose clamps at so not to bodge it up? will i need to change over any of the fitments on the ends? If anyone has pics of this set up. would be awesome. I can work better with pics in my head of what im doin Bit or a mock up of what I plan on doing
  6. anywhere to park my car? I will take the trip up. not too far. could even come saturday, night out in where ever, ride the next day. if someone can put me up
  7. if you get a cheap 4jeri tensioner and a longer bolt, should do the trick. That's with a proII hub might not work with your hub, worth a try though
  8. i aint too far away, have a lady friend whos at uni there. I have always wanted to ride there, big sheff ride? I think so
  9. another one for 6.0. they have a decent amount of rubber in the sole, so u dont get the pedals making holoes in them. DVS Mutants have a really thin sole. Most skate shoes have an "air" shock in them or they say.... DONT get pikie boots, you'll look like a tard!
  10. DUDE that was brill, and yeah, dnt quit, you will miss it. I kinda had to sell up for many reasons, after about a month, i was itchin to get back on the bike. But didn't have one. got one back now and love riding the thing. If you need a riding buddy to keep yoiu on the bike Ill travel down there. Only 300 miles or sumat! lol
  11. the clark ones. they feel nicer, the halfords own ones (grey and yellow packed ones) are crap, way too thick and way too soft, last about 2 weeks if that. Trials tech, last forever, had mine on my bike for well over a year, changed them had them on and off bars. no reason to buy anyothers, Pop em on with a wee bit of hair spray...... stickes em tight. (bit we all know that)
  12. I never tighten them tight, but they don't move unless I move them myself...
  13. It was hard to tell from the angle is it was out. I cant get my head around the UCI rules. seems too strict...
  14. £60 in halfords!! think i need to "get" me one of them in my own way ;P LOL!
  15. colour is lovely, not to keep on the looks of the forks.... they dnt look right
  16. thats freaky that, I never knew the kid, but I knew the name. touched like... R.I.P man, must have been a top lad like...
  17. happens to us all at least once eh.. Its to warm up here, been out on the bike since 8.30 and I'm ringing wet, buts its all good! need to shift a few stone! lol
  18. Shorts everytime for me, even its its cold and wet, just wrap up in a hoody. HATE ridin in pants, can ride for about 30mins in trackies before I'm ringing with sweat! LOL!
  19. New cable time dude, http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?cPath=32_55&products_id=668 well worth it mate Sorry for the steal,
  20. I HAVE to have the volume in my car either ending in 5 or a 0. HAVE to have all my tools layed out in the same place, put them back when used. same thing at work is I have to sweep the floor before I start a job. Im the same with the light switch thing. I have one for my phone, (iphone) if I have app updates I will get them off as it looks unclean
  21. "I don’t really want to give it a water bleed as I will be travelling in a couple of weeks and the bike will be standing for a few months." and what will water do over them months? answer nothing..
  22. Tryall reps are pretty horrid (IMO) personally i'd get some VIZ pro 720 bars, or trials tech, with a trials tech or onza T-master stem. If its a mod that is
