RIGHT! sorry to hijack the thread, can someone please fire up post codes or a decent location of the events in the tyke trials callender, I'm going to be training myself up over the next few moths for a full season...... (if I can hack it)
really nice forks, but i think they stopped makin them, I had a set back when I had a stock. Only thing the top nut is made of cheese, but you can use a normal star nut in there.
Try Trials tech or Echos,
Dnt normally take a bag out with me, but when I go on a ride I normally take set of allen keys. If im going out for a filming sesh ill take a bag, in there will be:
Camera,
Tripod
Few tapes

drink
I'm looking at building a hard xc freefide bike up. I'll be using most the bits off an old bike. (frame, and all the drive trian) Just need to revamp the wheels and forks a bit.
I would like 100mm plus travel, through axle is an option. not too fused aboiut lock out or anything I was looking on CRC and found these.http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=49119
They look rather nice, but the only thing that bugging me is what are Suntour like? a few bikes at work have them, and them seem to be a nice fork. Whats everyones POV on them?
And if anyone can recomend some forks under £200 that would be good
When I rode stock, I just ran halfords own 2.1" - 2.5" NEVER had a pinch, I was running dual wall tyre.
on the mod think its a Kenda, but got a few pinch flats! on the front just halfords tube again
"well you can pretty much see the battle damage, equals up to a bent pair of cracks, bent pedals, completely demolished rear wheels. oh and a bent steer tube, but hey if you wana go big thats what happens!"
Love it

I have one in front of me.
Should go something like this. from the bottom up. Crown race, Bearing, Lower cap of headset, Upper cap of headset, bearing, plastic clip looking thing, dust cover.
I had a normal stock control, only short. and it was by far the best frame I have ever rode. shame its not for 4 cracks in. but its still ridable...
I would love to have the money to build it back up.... one day though!!
Well I'm coming from workington, (cumbria) so about a 3 hour drive for me.... Im hoping to get set off by about 8ish which day is best for people?
Tar. Matt!
I have a weekend off work, so want to get out of cumbria and ride some rocks. WHos up for a ride there? I can pick someone up on the way down if they need a lift.
So ye, post if you fancy it!!
=D
I use to use tar with old ZOO pads, as they lasted about 30 seconds with a LIGHT grind. but the pads if found that work with a smooth rim and tar is ANY! makes all pads work, but they all feel the same, (imo) and makes the brake kinda sticky too...
each to there own though!
