  1. My plan is to hit up the local music fests. there about 3 or 4 local to me. REALLY want to so sonisphere though. Get out as much as I can, pubs, bike etc etc. just want to have fun. last year was SHIT!!
  2. used both, liked both. always went back to Minion though. Couldn't see a HUGE performace change from one to the other. as long as its dual ply you'll be okay. don't have to run a super thick inner tube, unless your harsh as hell. just get one from halfords 26 x 2.3-2.5. Iv never trusted any other make though. they just don't seem to hold up like maxxis do.

  6. I went for a few days last year, was up by the huge bike storage thing! HUGE!! but I cudnt see a lot to ride. and I have "lines dieses" as I call it. Could do some trick up the red light district. Gap over the cannel and what not!! theres a lot to do there though! I wanted to go to the Anne Frank place, seemed interesting
  7. clutch in the correct way round? I dont it ONCE on a for Puma the friction plate was facing the wrong way. If it is linkages, what they like? they ball and socket looking ones? they can be a bit ropey, so have a good look that there all in the correct position. Think saxo ones are the same replaced a few in my time......
  8. handy for when sorting out a house party and you don't want to text everyone. keep in touch with my brother who's at Uni. But there a bad side to everything. Being tagged on pics from a night out, you look at them and think "oh god". If you are "with" a chick they can add you, or email you about meeting up etc, but you can ignore them. I did get to know a chick, which later became my girlfriend....
  9. bloody hell for £400 looks sweet. I will have a mk1 one day!! lol
  10. so there only compatible with there own parts. so many people will think I have "x" pads I can only use "x" backings
  11. Ive had a few, shimano Deores are okay, but the tension screw gets hit off. Same thing with the Avid SD5, I would go for the SD7. Was by far the best brake I ever had, with heatsink Coust pads. odd to get use to, I'm use a loud brake. It works well, very well its just more a swoooch more hold but less bite I found. Never used ultimates as they are just that bit expensive for me, But I bet there stiffer than SD7.... Ali C is the main man so speak to though, Expert he is!
  12. some say taking paracetamol, as it thins the blood. I ran a vee on the back of my stock back when I had it, but I make it feel light, as the rim was too wide. or maybe that was me not too sure. Vee brake on the front is just too loud! lol
  13. water bleed helps. as does a longer lever. set up of the lever too. so that it pulls parallel with the bars. not having about 2cm of movement
