  1. Had a fun day! even though it was a bit damp! Big thanks to everyone who helped! see you at the next round!
  2. I was riding stock from 15 to 18. you can see from my video on youtube, that I've progressed and I only really rode an Echo control so its not like its the bike changing the way i ride. and I've been back riding about 2 years on a Mod and YES im not upto the level i was, I wont ever be. I could side hop about 3 inch above bar on my Onza ice, now on my Monty its totally different. Not sure whether its the bike, or me.... BUT if you at a level where you can say "yes Ill try stock and see how it goes" go for it, I loved it! (in my head i should be riding a stock, but money is tight!!)
  3. Looks like a right laugh, I'd love to be there, it just too far to go!
  4. Anyone doing Cadet? sure its the "black route" red flags? I need someone to wander round with... I cant wait, been full of cold all week but WILL be there come rain or shine!

  11. Iv been riding my monty over the last few days, its a nice bike, rides good. BUT i think its a tad short well the bikes not it the reach. Been thinking of chaging the stem for one that will give it a longer feel the thing is the stem I have on there now measures 170mm x 35 rise, and I cant get anything more! been having a mock up of some on bikecad.ca and done a few measurements and that looks good is about 240mm x 30 rise. is there anywhere I can get one make up? or is it a case of me getting my welder out? what stems would you folks thing would do the job?
  12. might be okay in the dry. But looks like it will be a slick in the wet. I'd still to a max daddy
  13. Does anyone want my Mardave? Ill get some snaps tomorrow
  14. To be honest, I've never torqued up a Bottom bracket. I use a 1/2inch ratchet and give it a good nip. I've never had one come loose on me. Personally I wouldn't use threadlock, could do more damage that good
  15. I have a mardave up on my loft! used it for about a week! Nitro is where its at! had about 5. loved em till they broke!
  16. think its £10 for the year, then £10 for every event! well worth it! quality day out!

  18. thats spot on. I just wanted to know how far I have to travel! Been to Lee quarry which I'd say is the furthest away. all good fun though!
  19. probably end up needing a long cable but I'd say it wont make the brake feel too good. just with the curve angle. if you know what I mean?
  20. Its going to be fun this year! I'm hoping to do a full season! 1st full one! just been doing myself a map of where they all are, and cant seem to find rounds 2 and 4. Wish I lived closer!!
  21. You dont mess with the scooter boy Ali! I do agree they are a tad daft
  22. Whats the crack with the lever angle? sore wrists much? As Ali said. forks look rank!
