I have stripped the threads in the little nut that goes on the end of the QR. I have a hope now, but the qr seems to be bent. 2 reasons to get a new one! I was having a quick look on wiggle and they have a nice looking X-lite, i was wondering has anyone got, or used one before. Are they any good? Should I stick with a hope?

Cracked a Cannondale Martin Ashton thing! : Snapped a MAD (who hasn't) Flat spotted a Sun Rim Snapped some Outland bars Totally f**ked an Echo rim! Few Sram chains! Couple of mech hangers About 6 big dents on one side 2 huge dents on the other, 2 splits, one 4 inch long and one 2 inch long! Not much eh?

You looked at an Echo Control? There a really nice frame? I'm sure somebody in the forsale/wanted section is selling one for £140 and there also a "NEW!" Adamant A2, which I would get if I had the money. I have an Echo Control '04 it is really nice. before that I had a Saracen mad and there loads different. The BB rise is about 15-20mm and thats good enough for me. Just a idea for you! If you wont something with a higher BB look at the HIFI? ...Matt

The threads in the frame when I bought it were 2 M5 and 2 M6, so my dad tapped them both out to M6. So... its all good, My dads just gone to buy one now! Woot! lol! But £25 for 4 holes is a bit much like! I was going to see if any one has one on here but it doesn't matter! Cheers Boys!!!

I've stripped the threads in one on the brake mounts on my bike. I need to get it sorted pretty fast, as I have a week off school! Any ideas, I thought I could get some new mounts made and get some one to weld them on, would that work? Cheers Matt!!!
