I did have some of these pads which were, umm ok with a grind and wore quite quickly! Then i decided to put my old batch B's on, so I gave my mate the white pads! He reground his rim and they work so well on his bike, the bloody bars*ard :P They also haven't really worn that much either! (Y) Rob :)

I have no idea what inspires me really, just other top trials riders and just how they make it look so easy! Most of the time if i'm worried about trying something then I know that I could actually do it, just the worry of it, like hoping to a rail or something! Get an avid mate, you wont look back! I had a hope mini mono which was total balls compared to the avid! You will have enough money to get the disk and a nice XTR lever! Loads of power and modulation! Rob :)

Well it basically means the same as the other in a strange way. Basically the corrent customers means, do they sell 18 certificate games to people only over 18, that sorta thing. Hey all, For my latest media project I have been asked to choose a topic to study and then answer for the exam. The topic I have chosen from a list is gaming! Then I have to choose a problematic to research on. My teacher has told me a good way to get some answers and views would be on a forum. I have chosen the following questions to research Do companies stick to the rules of selling games to customers within the correct certification? Whose responsibility is it that under age gamers doesn’t get served? The retailer or the producer? Could you please help me answer these questions and give your views. Much appreciated Rob :-

Hey, Yes I would definetly say grind your rim mate! Do you run tar? I used to run tar for ages and absolutly swore by it, pretty much any pads work with tar but there is no modulation just simply locking power! Then when we were in porthcrawl everyone was grinding their rims so I just though ah what the heck I may as well and as they say I have never looked back :- Yes when I first ground my rim I did wear out 2 sets of pads in about 3 weeks but after it has bedded in and worn down a bit it was fine! Tar Great locking power Wears away in the wet Have to keep re-applying No modulation Cheap Doesn't wear out your sidwalls (eventually) Pads last forever Grind Constant good braking even in crap weather Easy to do Wears pads at start but gets better Easy to re-grind Great modulation Theres a little list of pros and cons! I know you haven't actually mentioned that you use tar but it's the other alternative to a grind for a good brake! Hope i've helped! Cheers Rob

I hear what your saying, yes it is annoying but there are alot of new members and everyone probably feels the same way, you just have to wait your turn really! There is no certain amount of posts you have to have, it's better to have 10 really good posts rather than 100 rubbish ones! Rob :D

For a fu*kin start he wasn't giving you attitude just the fact that he has probably said it to a lot of people and if you look in the new members there have been about 4+ posts closed because there not aloud to sell stuff!
