Im the poor b*****d that had to sit on msn and explain what apature....iso and shutter speed ment :D as well as millions of other questions 100000000000 TIMES!!!!!!! :) and by the looks of things he took my advice (kinda) To be fair if I hadn't told you what to use they they would of come out like a shitty brown mess (Y) So yeh mate nice one for listening (the 5th time) and im sure all you need to do is just tweek the settings a bit and they'll be good. Tip: When shooting light trails dont shoot into on coming cars, as you have found out they just overpower the shot and make it look way to bright. Always shoot cars going away from you, this is good if your stood by the side of the road in say a layby, then point in the same directin the cars are going. This will be much better, the red off a tail light is quite dark but still bright enough to stand out against the black sky. White is the complete opposite to black so will look to powerfull. Anyway milkey those first 2 are very cool, espically the second one. Keep trying mate and any advice give us a shout (god im gonna regret saying that) :- Rob

Wouldnt really bother with a DMR thing to be honest, espically if it's only £40 Get a Hope, there the best for the money and if anything goes wrong with it then they will generally sort it out for you. Many people on here including myself have sent products back and either had them fixed or replaced for free. Im waiting for the new trials one when they get there as into gear. Shoudlnt be long now. Get the steel one with 48 engagments :- only £120

Im not going to answer the above because i'll prob say somein wrong and some geek will come in and go no actually I think you'll find theres a massive difference in the electrical current passing through the hydronaptic microchips through the 10gx processer while running blah blah blah.......lol I much prefur PCs, I use a PC at home and a mac at college, Macs are more designing computers thats wht they have PCs in IT and macs in art + design. I must say I prefur using photoshop on a mac but when editing my media coursework on imovie it constantly kept shuttig down for no reason then having to start again. Very annoying. When you ask it to do something it cant handle it wont stop and think about it, they freeze and just shut down the programm. Well thats what i've found in my experience. They are alot smaller than a PC, theres no tower, it's all built into one unit which is pretty cool, espically on the new imac widescreens, god there nice!! But yeh, for general use I find PCs much better!!!! :-

Well a laptop is a great idea, im sure it will help him in a big way with further education/work. I know now I couldn't do half the college work I do now if I didn't have my laptop. It's alot but 18th is special and will benifit from it in the long run. Like I got/still waiting for my camera, which will benift me in a huge way and hopefully push me towards my dream :D Laptops.....humm I've got a Packard bell something or other. Bought last year, has done very well, only 256mb RAM and 40gb hardrive but I bought a 160gb external so it's ideal. Will update the RAM soon and i'll be sorted! Rob

Hardly, I think you'll find on most that you can set it to manual and adjust both apature, shutter, iso and manual focus as well. It's not as advanced as say a digi slr but it's still there. A point and click is one of those digital compacts your mum would have :- It's all to do with the flexability and image quality. With say a DSLR you can change lenses for the appropiate subject that your shooting, you can add a wider range of accesories like flashguns, filters etc. It's all to do with the sensor as well, a slr look a like will have a smaller sensor than a digi slr and the newer top end DSLRs have whats called a full frame sensor, for example the new Canon 5D. People always normally think that the better the amount of megapixles is better, this is true but say if you had a 6mp slr look a like, thats alot of detail to go onto a small sensor, therefore resulting in noiser images, this is why cameras like the 5D have 12MP and a full frame sensor. Anyway thats all far to technical for me, im sure Chris will come and tell me thats completly wrong as well ^_^ But yeh, it's just the general amount of add ons once you've bought the camera really. Most products for the more serious photographer are aimed to be used with the most popular dslrs. Rob :(

Limited amounts is best! Shows the true photo then dosent it, anyone can turn the worst photo into something better. Theres other ways of doing a sequence as well, not that i've tried it but I might be able to try it soon. Flashgun on strobe mode :( Could be problems with lighting though etc. We'll see Just hope I have my feggin new digi slr before the comp ends!!!! ^_^ if not the fuji wil do just fine!! Yeh 1st of Jan sounds great! Rob :-

We should also set a limit for uploads. I think maybe 1 trials one and 1 non trials one Yeh?
-
Yes I most definatley up for that!!!!!!! Whos going to be a judge? You Chris? But then if you enter a photo obviously you cant be biased towards your own photo. We could ideally do with a judge thats not going to enter. It's like having a surfing competition with the judges entering. Also yes I think PS work should be limited to cropping, levels adjustment and de-saturation. It's a pretty stupid idea taking a photo in B+W, it's always best if you have the colour version as well. So then yeh, we also need to organise some sort of time limit, like a space of say ummm 6 weeks maybe? or more or less Also a start date. I think 6 weeks maybe about right so then people can get some good ideas, good places and a variation of choice. Also im sure most of us are very busy with work/college work/girlfriends/riding etc so another good reason for 6 weeks or so. Good or bad idea? ;) Rob :P

D70 :P Do you want a proper digital slr or just a digital camera that looks like an slr. If so defo go for the new FujiFilm S5600, i've got the S5500 at the mo and it's mint. It's certinatly improved my photography my a load! Rob ;)

Bloody hell get on! That was awsome. Lovin those gaps with the momentam hop, love doing them! That drop gap was rather large too, the skinny wall one. Great rider! Rob (Y) B)
