Water is quite blatlently the best, i've got a mate who swears by maggy oil or sus oil. He put it in my brake once and it was w*nk!! He swears by it and everyone tells him to bleed it with water but o no he wont listen, yet I have an amazing working and feeling brake while his feels like sh**e, and he wonders why. Do it with water, try and get a compressor if you can and before you bleed it flush all the crap out with it. Rob (Y)

In my first year I did: As - Media As - graphics As - Photography As - IT Dropped IT cus it's absolutly SH*T!!!! really hated that subject, I like computers but that was just tourture. So this year I picked up AS film studies and doing the other 3 as A2 It's alot of work but at the moment it's going proper good! Really stuck in this year But yeh I just wanted to do subjects that I enjoy instead of thinking o god I hate this subject and it just being a waste of time. Pick carefully, I nearly picked art but by joe im pleased I didn't!!! The work they do (Y) All the best Rob (Y) (Y)

Maybe so but it's ALOT more time consuming and more expencive. Plus digital gives much more flexibility and equal if not better quality from a good digi slr. Go on Mike take the plunge (Y) (Y)

After talking about making a video for god knows how long.... :P That was a great result, well worth waiting for. Love the fast cutting, it keeps you interested. Half of the time I was watching a clip and then it's like WOW then by the time i've thought that the next clip is over, it's like WOWOWOWOWOW :) Good choice of music too. Matts spinning is getting silly, best bit was in the skatepark at night!!!! MAKE ANOTHER ONE! Rob :turned: :P

ANOTHER hope bumming story :P A while back before selling my front mono disk to Edd P I thought it was only a good idea to get it sent to hpe to get it chekced over as it had been sat in my garage for ages doing nothing. Sent it back and included a little letter and got it back within a few days with new pads, new bleed and new caliper, I think they gave me a new disk as well! :P :) Then last week I sent my wheel to them with my nearly 3 year old mono on and asked if they could take a look at it as the rachet was fecked, so yeh I only asked about the rachet. I sent it on the wednesday afternoon (£8 postage) and got it back on the monday morning with a brand new rachet, shim, internals and freehub body!! :) :) What amazing service, they've saved me alot of money, as if i'd had to pay for new parts it would of been expencive! My hub has been packed with some grease and it's basically silent :) Stealth bike Top stuff!!!!! Rob :turned: :D

Some VERY nice shots there, I espically like the low angled rolling gap one, contrast of dark and sky is great. The one that bugs me is the one of someone on a rail with there frontwheel, nice macro but the focus should of been the other way round IMO. The sunset ones, yeh ok but too much clutter around the bike, bushes + houses etc. Fisheye ones are cool (although I dont like your lens :P) espically the compression one! Also love the one of porter, so simple and effective. Anyway, if I think of anything else i'll say Top job, getting it right with an SLR is hard, so nicely done for that, espically 11 films and not one that didnt come out as it should of ^_^ Rob :D :P

ummmm what? (Y) It all came from ONE potato in Peru, that being THE original potato stoopid

Your right but he has a Fuji and they donsen't fire pre-flash. :(

Yeh Whitey, noisey mate. Its a 'techincal' term i suppose for how a pic can look. It's where you get like a grain/spekles in your pics, espically noticeable at night and in skys. Open photoshop and add noise to a picture, then you'll see. HAHAHAHAHAHAH LMFAO HORSESHOE :P it's hotshoe mate :) Yeh get a flashgun but it's not quite as simple as presing the flash at the same time as the shutter cus that wont work lol You need to get a half decent gun off ebay or somein, then buy a slave cell, this clips onto the bottom of the flashgun which then screws onto a tripod. Then when your flash goes off it triggers a sensor in the slave cell which then fires the flashgun. Obviously this is all done at rapid pace so theres no delay but it takes practice in getting the gun in the right place etc. Im gonna be buying one soon I think Rob :P

Not bad whiteass but there extremly noisey and low quality for a 6 mp cam. This is because your using iso 1600 which is too high, the highest mine goes is 400 and I can get away at night with that perfectly. Just have the apature right open (3.2) and the shutter about 1/125, anything like 1/500 is too fast and wont let enough light in quick enough so it'll be zehr dark. Also try some different angles, like the one of Jack jack to front wheel, how highs the wall? could be 50" could be 5", get it all in the pic Keep trying whiteass :)

Bloody hell a new member that knows how to write properly. Welcome matey, you should do just fine here! >_<

Yes pretty much, except they've got a thicker steerer tube and are only £60 Yeh you could spend £20 for some tuff guys but thats 20 squid you could put towards some better forks which will last longer in the long run instead of some muff guys breaking shortly. Rob >_<

Fact- This is the most intresting thread created in chit chat for months Fact 2- It will be closed for some gay reason soon Fact 3- Peter Kay speaks the truth with those facts! Fact 4- Guano apes are an amazing band ok im done, more a matter of opinion really but meh one more- This is the first post in ages that I haven't used a emotion in

My lite guys cracked above the brake mounts on both sides, same place as yours. Onza forks are rubbish, get something else that will last. Everyone I know that has had either tuf guys or lite guys has killed them without trying anything overly large. Get some BT forks Rob (Y)

Yeh those solar ones are OK, thats about it, not crap, not great. I've also got a CB kit (which im selling if anybodys intrested) and I bought some Paiste 101 cymbals off ebay for £115, including crash, ride and hi hats. Then just bought a premier boom stand that also converts to a straight stand second hand (for the ride) and then just used the straight that came with the kit for the crash and just bought a new premier hi hat stand. Some one please buy it, many upgrades CHEAP. But yeh anyway, thats not much cheaper than what you would pay in the shops anyway. Rob (Y)
