Thanks, 1. Someone else said that, take the flash out.....but why? Surly if I did that then people would say oo wheres the light source coming from!? I think it should definatley be in there to be honest. 2. Why on earth would you want to put a kerb/wall/post box in there? That would look completly wrong and not work well with the overall compoition at all! The idea is to isolate him, if I tried this idea in the middle of town, it would be too cluttered, I dunno maybe i'll try it! Why dont you want 100% attention on the rider? Like Chris said to me, people think there HAS to be a take off, landing etc in a photograph. Thats pretty much the norm isnt it? Borriiinngggg 3. I do have the colour version, it's just more blue, the flash etc. No real bright colours but I will post it later. 4. This photo was taken at about 1/250 I THINK. I tried a few with the flash fully in the photo at the side but for some reason it didnt look powerful enough. So I found that if I had half in half out then it worked much better, giving a little lens flare too. No there was no editing involved apart from cropped black space off the top and ground off the bottom, levels, converted to B+W. No huge changes at all, the rider and flash are exactly as you see. I didnt add the flash in PS or any shit like that. 1.HAHAHA FFS IT'S NOT PHOTOSHOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christ, it was at the back of MFI, you know a big flat concrete place with a few pallets. No kerbs/walls/ or anything around at all. Just Steve and I with cam stuff. 2. You've seen better what? Trials photos? But this isnt really trying to present/promote trials is it? Trials involves "hoping" on walls etc etc. Cant say there are any walls in this. Yes I was trying to be "arty" and original at the same time, i've never seen something like this before, have you? If so i'd like to see it.... 1. Maybe you and your comments are pointless and "gay" I dunno... 2. Like I said above, who says it's trying to show what trials is? Yeh that photo of Buck is good but how many times has it been done before? Myself included but this is something different which is the idea... If your gonna make a calender thats going to be decent enough for people to buy then it's gotta be consistant, you cant have really smart pics one month then somein crappy the next, the photos have got to be good and not something some kids taken with the free compact that cam with his grandpas readers digest subscription I'll have a dig around later but the pics are looking good so far, espically Mr Freds!

Downloaded it in about 30 mins, constantly around the 200 mark which is a bonus. Jon s, christ almightly hes good, well everyone was! It would seem that no matter what pictures you put on this forum they all get bummed. No offence to matey who took pics but no matter how good or crap the pics are, people just say....."nice pics" First one, you cut his head off but nice idea! Second wayyy too dark Third, I cant see where hes come from or where hes going plus it's horribly blurry. Fourth is not bad at all compared to the rest, good job The rest are ok You may not want any tips or really care. Cheers Rob

I just questioned little silly siddy about this and it appears that will slide into the network card slot. Which is surrently occupied by a little plastic thing. So if I take that out, I have a nice network card port which looks like that will fit in nicely!? Right? or is it not as simple as that!?

Im in exactly the same situation! Dads just bought a new sony mini dv cam which is mint. I can import through usb but the quality isnt really that great. So is there any sort of firewire thing you can get that plugs into usb maybe? Rob

New years rocked my socks off. Best.night.ever! O deary me it was good but god damm I felt like shit the next day. ^^^^^ Get a second hand Fuji S5500, not the 5000! Awsome little camera that looks the doggs too. I've used one for ages and it helped my photography improve to no end, ideal for just simple shots of stuff but has the capability to get a little fanice with technical things too like experimenting with focus, exposure etc etc. Get one off ebay for about your price range, or a canon isux 50/55 Just looks like a digital compact but certinatly in this case dont judge a book by it's cover. The fuji is 4mp, iso range 64-400, 10x optical zoom blah blah blah but they've just replaced it with the S5600, higher iso range, looks a little different, 6mp but gonna be slightly over your budget.
