    Spindle-ism

Was meant to be buying my BT frame, messed around so much with time and stuff. what a douche bag
  4. No I know what I meant, just didn't come out right Yeah thats why when shooting landscape you expose for longer at small apature (F20), to get more depth of field. I just get the shallow and little depth of field the wrong way round. I meant that F2.8 will give you blurred background/foreground which F22 say will give a shot thats all in focus, espically a landscape.
  5. Red on everything Brown is good in those mcbacon rolls though
  6. No your right, I did it so it's mine? haha I kind of know what you mean but in a way Photoshop is the key, final small adjustments can make a shot look so much better, without anyone actually noticing. All major retourchers use such subtle techniques that you can hardly see the difference, it's all about being subtle and making small changes to bring in perfection. Meh you and whiteboy seem to have the same attitude with that, try and get good photos straight outta cam and all that. Which is good practicing and will make you better, but you'll get a lot better when you consider everything, which you seem to be doing pretty well . On those Fujis the light metre isnt half damm handy!!! Light metering, where to metre, lighting, composition, depth of field, whats the best camera settings? etc I.E. If your out in a everyday setting, you could get the same photo from using either of the following: 5 second exposure @ F22 in the sun or 1/500 @ F.2.8 Not accurate but if they both produce the same photo then what would be the better option? The longer would give you movement and limited depth of field. The shorter would capture movement and get depth of field at the same time I saw a photo of a leaf on a rock in a photography mag. The light etc everything was perfect but he set up his tripod and took the shot for 8 seconds at F22, why? when he could of got the same results from a faster shutter and big aperture. Weird really. Dont really know why i said that lol, bit of random info for you. You seem to be getting a lot better which is mint however photoshop is the other side to photography and it's an essential to learn it. Post some more up
  7. Nice Dave. Although it's a little overexposed in the background areas from harsh light there is still enough detail to make it look better in PS.......... [attachmentid=3562] or [attachmentid=3563] Glad to see you were getting a little 'arty' We need more pics, one is not enough for it's own topic
  8. thats some really nice walls and rails you have there. How about some pics of you riding them I may go outside and take a picture of the kerb
  9. IIRC courses are shite. Just get a driving instructor, a good one!!!! Not some random cus he'll use one lesson for indicating left and another for right He'll milk you else. Have as many lessons as possible a week maybe, depends on what your doing otherwise. Book your theroy test online for the week after. That'll force you to revise and get it done with.
  10. Link works fine. Smart vid! Good song, riding and editing!! That beach looks nice but my god I hate natural lol How have you got a silent brake?
  11. No it wasnt. It was working perfectly fine for ages, then soon as I did the windows reinstall thing it wouldnt let me access it. Also it was an external hardrive with things like vids and pics on, no windows based programmes, there on the internal silly.
  12. Nice one Mike. The one of porter that Rich quoted is wicked but god damm it would look 1000 times better with flash. I had to look at it and think hang on, where actually is the rider for a second Alot of them need flash, like I said to Tic with his. Espically the ones of stan, they look wicked just because you've used flash. But yeh some real cool ones like staples etc, some others arnt paticuarly great but looks like there was wayy to many people around and getting in the way. Also looks like Dave can't jump for sh*t Top stuff, i WILL be there next year if it kills me
  13. unplug your hardrive and any other usb things. When I did mine the hardrive decided to f**k itself over. Took me AGES!!!!!!!!!!! to get it back, a very very long process

What did I do? Set external flash to wireless mode.....go through camera menu and change flash mode to commander mode.....pop up flash and wheyyyy flash flash flash Just held the gun on it's side on the carpet, lay down, focus..waittt........BAM
  19. Not TOO sure what you need but this........? [attachmentid=3447] A lot more trials shots of mine here.....CLICK I can send you high res versions if theres any you want
  20. Rob_P

    Photogramaphy.

on mine (and im sure Canons are similar) you set the flashgun to wireless mode. On the side theres a small sensor that is triggered by the pop up on camera flash. In the menu you set the flash mode to commander mode instead of TTL. This fires per flash which activates the sensor so the flashgun knows when to sync with the camera. No wires at all
