  1. The pedals seem very very good so far! Exteremly grippy, replaceable pins throughout (from the underside so you can actually get them out unlike v8s) Look the dogs and don't hurt your feet much at all, very comfortable. The tyre is suprisingly good, very good in wet and dry (so far) We were riding a building site the other day in the pissing down rain and it was fine. I really prefur it over some huge downhill thing like a maxxis, this is really streety and rolls nicely, it's not like I ever ride natty anyway Cheers guys
  2. Just awsome, top gear is the only decent thing on TV. O apart from paparazzi on a wednesday night Love every single second of it, just pure class! They make me laugh so much, espically the funny little challenges they get, HAHA. Roll on sunday
  3. After no riding for 2 odd months I slowly built this up in bits, using some of my old parts from my BT but most is new. Here she is..... Rides like an absolute dream, no wonder these frames are so popular. Spec: Bars: Azonic DW 1.5" rise Grips: Richy WCS Stem: Toxin 100 x 8 Forks: Fattys Headset: Hope BB: UN 72 Cranks: Middleburns + lathed bash Pedals: Gussett slimjims (white) Front brake: Avid mechanical Front lever : XTR Rear brake: HS33 + koxx reds Front wheel: Gunmetal Hope Pro 2 on LMF (black spokes) Rear wheel: Gunmetal Hope Pro 2 on BMF (black spokes) Front tyre: DMR moto digger Rear tyre: Maxxis minion super tacky Please ignore the blue headset and brake, when i've got some money i'll be getting them polished, also i'll be adding a heatsink tensioner and CNC coust pads. Suits my riding much better, feels so streety with the bar + tyre set up. I'm really pleased with it and think it cost me £680 ish to change from BT to this with the new parts etc. Please tell me what you think Thanks a lot Rob

that is DAMM fine!!! Really like that mate, done a good job!
  8. I don't care what anyone says but both the Nikon D50 and the D70s are SOOOOO easy to use! One dial on the front for aperture, another on the back for shutter. Just a quick spin of the dials and you can get from really fast settings to really slow in no time. Out shooting bmx today and when my mate was coming up the hip I could sit under him and adjust the settings so fast, i'm sure the canons the same as when I had a go on a 350D the front dial does the shutter and then you hold down a little button and spin it for the aperture. Then on the back theres quick short cut buttons for iso, white balance, playback, zoom (to check focus) and lock so you don't accidently delete any good photos, even though thats pretty hard. The menu is split into four sections and tis really easy to scroll through and change anything, although I can't say I ever use it when out, apart from to change the flash mode or file type (Raw or jpeg) All the basic settings you need are done through the short cut buttons and dials on the back. Can't complain about my d70s, been pleased from day 1. Even though the canon was cheaper I just didn't facnie it, it was smaller and i've just always wanted a D70. So yeh......there as good as each other really.
  9. naaaa Might do the next one, might just play photographer this year. I'm 99% sure Steves not doing this one either (14th).....
  10. monster Can't bare the thought of one brake though. I know it's all the rage from BMX as I know thats how I used to run mine, suppose it's alrite if you ride dirt! Top job mate, frame looks awsome

    Bodges!

Hows this for a bodge/mod!!!? The story is..... I bought some second hand fattys, go to build bike and steeres too damm short, by loads! Humm my initial thought was to sell them and try and get another set. I really didn't want to do that as these forks were mint and theres not too many of them around. My dad had some crazy idea that he could extend the steere tube As he's an engineer I took him a little more serious. So we measured how much it was short by (16mm) and he made a steel round lump, lathed the bottom down so it would fit inside the steere, then drilled the middle out the same as the steere, welded it all together and smoothed/filed it all down Now I have one mint perfect length steere He also lathed my bash down the other day too One pretty big bodge, but done pretty damm nicely!!

    when what where how? b*****d.
  17. Sweet as fook! Not my ideal choice of spec but we can't have everything hey
  18. It wouldn't appear so? Not bad, on the riding pics a faster shutter speed and some flash needs to be used maybe to freeze the rider, the last has potentiol, could be much better with a smaller apature, better focus and see his face. If your finding it hard for matey to keep still during the exposure, (causing blur) try a long one, take a flash photo of your mate when theres no cars, put your hand over the lens, then when a car comes take it off. Could work well if done well with timing etc.
  19. Lookin good whiteass! Flash is a little harsh but thats ok cus I know your equipment is a little tempermental. Slave flash is so much better hey babes
