I love the way that no matter what the topic is, Waynio writes an essay which always ends up with "The new Koxx frame that I've got this week is worth every penny of the £700 it cost..." I think it looks nice... the colour doesn't do it any favours, but there seems to be an awful lot of opinion floating around about it already... and to be honest thats all it is... opinon. Your all the kind of people who still wouldn't buy a Skoda despite the fact they are now brilliant cars... we seem to forget Zoo's stodgy first frames as well, noone gives them any grief about their history? The headtube thingy doesnt look like it will rip off, it seems to have plenty of weld space on both sides, although it does seem a bit ott. But lets not kid ourselves, anyone who says on this forum that they think its silly cos they dont buy a trials specific frame cos it looks different, I'd say 75% are telling porkies. Yeah

Explain that there is a massive underground trials community in Britian, a few of which use T-F, who would support the idea and be willing to be involved in the park's creation.

I've got the Zoo! cnc cranks and I have never had any problems with them. If your worried about pedal threads stripping, keep your pedals tight. You haven't had any problems i presume with the threads on the RS7's so there no reason for you to have problems with the Echo cnc's. They do look nice and they are plenty stiff. On the other hand, the tensiles have a pretty good reputation too, so I'd just go for the cheaper of the two!

Depends how its done... whether the idea behind using the cnc is strength or weight reduction... But anyway, I don't see why everyone is raving about it... maybe becasue the CLS groupies have been let loose again... But anyway, it is after all, only my opinion

Forgive me if I'm wrong, and I know how a frame rides is all about geometry, but that frame looks pretty dated compared to the lighter, stiffer cnc'd parts of today... Maybe its just me, it just kinda reminds me of some of the old zzoos before the pitbull except witha lower standover... Any one else get what I mean?

What about a bottom bracket that comes combined with freewheel? Like how echp has stuck some big bearing on the outside of their new bb, why not use that to put in a ratchet and pawl system too? Hmm...

For me, an enjoyable, successful ride is one where you and a friend make sections up and encourage each other. You get up onto a rock, and your mate tells you to gap to the next rock, then climb up the next etc... then do it brakeless, without correction hops, whatever, but making interesting lines, even if the ups and gaps arent particulary big. Not getting up a rock, then getting up the next rock thats a bit bigger, all in seperate chunks. Thats not what trials is about! Sections rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean like that people are taking trials too seriosuly and are only interested in results, rather than the actual fun in riding. I know what I mean, even if noone else does

Danny, you know what this means don't you... ...you're getting old! "It's not like it was in my day!" But seriously, I think the growing popularity of trials has introduced more formality to the sport, it's not about having fun anymore. Its about who can go the biggest.

Ive has a brilliant idea! Rather than 'mod' your corsa or saxo, and cruise round town getting laughed at by people with sens, just take a few grand out the bank in five pound notes and see how fast you can burn them, onw note at a time. It'll probably be more rewarding, less expensive, and a whole lot less rediculous.

Didn't you know that a PS2 makes your car go faster? In all seriousness, buy a Yaris, it'll never go wrong, cheap to insure, and will last forever. Keep it till your 23, then think of all those thousands of pounds youve saved on insurance and bodykit and breakdown repair that you can then spend on a proper car, like a second hand elise or summat. Ha... did anyone see the Top Gear where the old guys with their bare bones racer raced the modded 306? The 306 didn't just get beaten it got whooped! Was brilliant! Yeah that makes sense.... a preflight check is to stick the brakes on and push the engines to full power and back again, and the plane does not move - so it wont in this case either... Good stuff Adam

Yeah I wasnt saying the plane would pull itself along how that guy said iit would, you just described a helicopter and i pointed it out... But anyway... as the thrust of the plane increases, and the conyeyor belt just speeds up as well? I'm presuming the conveyor belt has no top speed or anything? It will get to a point where the friction in the wheels will cause heat in the bearings and melt them? We are also assuming the thrust of the engines is more powerful than whatever is driving the conveyor belt?

But what im saying is that the harder you try to pull yourself forward, the harder the running machine will try and pull you back. And snappel... since when have you had anything to with aircraft? A wing and prop DO use the same principle to create lift, forming low pressure on the bottom and high on the top. Believe me - I did my A2 physics coursework on lift. And if a prop didnt create lift like a wing then why would you adjust the pitch of the prop to create different amounts of forward lift?

A wing works on the same principle as a propeller. A wing remains staionary and air is pushed over it, whereas a propeller moves through stationary air. Bothe provide lift through the shape of the wing/prop. Right derf... You are sitting in a trolly on a running machine. you are holding onto the bars either side of the running machine, so the trolley is stationary and the wheels are spinning at a gentle pace. You push against the bars to move yourself in the trolley along the running machine in the opposite direction that it is moving. The amount of force required to do it is more than you need to remain stationary. BUT as you increase the force needed to do it, the running machine increses speed. Now it requires more force to hold yourself stationary, and the more force you put into trying to move yourself forward, the faster the running machine goes. You put more and more force into keeping yourself stationary, until it becomes too much, you let go and end up in a heap across the gym. Get it yet?

The riddle tells you the plane moves in one direction and the conveyor belt moves in the other. To someone standing on the conveyor belt, the plane will move away from them, but to someone standing on stationary ground, the plane will be stationary.
