My advice is:
For your first car, get something crap. Something cheap and crap, that you wouldnt really mind denting or scratching.
That way, until youve learnt through sheer experience, you can't do any expensive damage to your car.
Then, when you come to your next car, you can get something new, and then really appreciate how well it drives, with all that experience in a crap car behind you. It will make you more aprreciative, and an altogether better driver.
You wouldnt start trials on a £2000 bike, so dont start driving in an expensive car.
