:bunny: Anyone who spends £100,000 on an old golf has serious issues

The satisfaction of pulling off from the lights with the launch mode on (it accelerates for you as fast as it can) next to some knob in plastic surgerified nova, hearing the roar of the V10... Or better yet, rev your engine, so he pulls away as fast as he can, let him get some distance, then floor it, and watch his mouth drop as your fly past... yummy! :wink2:

I saw a Ferrari 360 Modena owner scrape the front bumper of his car on a ramp at Sainsbury's the other day. It was very satisfying :(

Try not to get blown up :)

£700, testing or no, is a bit much for a frame whatever way you look at it... but not to worry, die hard Ferrari, er, I mean, Koxx fans will still buy the XTP because of the badge. In the end it will be down to, as you say, testing of the Czar, and purely personal preferance. If Koxx can pull off selling a frame for £700 then good on them, its the punters that choose to pay, Koxx don;t force them... If it was me I'd sell it for £700 :)

You dont understand my point. The F40 was a super lightweight barely legal race car. The weight to power ratio was enormous, and if a car were to be built with the same kind of power to weight ratio today, using modern engine and chassis technology, the F40 wouldnt stand a chance. What I am saying is that cars can be four times the weight nowadays and still be equal on the performance side of things. The F40 was sparten. It had nothing. Now the modern supercars have aircon, cd players, power steering, auto 'boxes, all sorts of things that weigh it down massively, but can still whip the F40. I mean, can you imagine a stripped out McMerc SLR? With literally the bare minimum such as the F40 had? Now you can race a 1.6 litre car that will beat the F40 off the line and will beat it all the way up to 200mph. ALSO.... the handling was not brilliant (an episode of Top Gear comparing the F40 with 360 CS is my source here) and round a track could in no way hold its own against the 360CS. So my point being, there is more to a supercar than 0-60 times and top speeds, otherwise all racing would be drag racing. Now the top fuel dragsters, they have PROPER 0-60 times...

And charge rediculous prices for the privelige of it. Koxx seem to be the Ferrari if the trials world, outrages prices, but good machinery, although any extras will double the original cost of the product.

Obviously so do you! to deny watching Top Gear is to call yourself a batty boy... Some of us even read the magazine :)

Heh, I like the way Waynio brings up the Czar, and poo-poos it despite it being stronger and made from a better material than the XTP, and cheaper.... I think it would be compared to the XTP as the DBR9 is to the DB9, IF the DBR9 were cheaper than the DB9... if you wanna talk car metaphores... :)

The best Ferrari at the moment has to be the FXX, a race track only version of the Enzo, due to be sold soon. The F40, although it looks nice, is actually very slow by todays standard, and would get easily whooped by something a bit newer. The current best Ferrari other than the two Enzo's is the F430. looks the nuts, and drives the nuts. Or so I've heard. And that pic looks very rendered and fake, and doesnt have any of the design traits of Pininfarina styling, its too much of a mish mash of swoops and curves, not very Ferrari! And what are those drawing pin/thumb tack things in the wheels? The FXX:

It does work. If Koxx make the Czar but keep it hush hush that they make it, then those who want the Koxx for tha name wil still get the XTP, (its not like it sells as well as other frames anyway) and those who would buy a zoo or echo cos they are cheaper would then consider and maybe buy the Czar, thus bringin in more market for Koxx, and still keeping the old one. Peoples pimp factor in wanting the original and branded name will make it work.

Unless you happen to be in a town centre or something... breathing the crappy city air will kill us all anyway... I posted a while ago about this effect of smoking that isnt widely advertised, but is taught to degree students, and is quite interesting. Your nervous system is a big network across your body, made up of chains of cells, that send a signal along by electro-chemical signals, which then allows the brain to comunicate with the body. The nicotine in cigarettes overrides the electro chemical, and the nerve calles become accustomed to the nicotine. Then, the next time your brain sends a signal, there is a minute delay becu=ause the nerve cells want nicotine, not the electro chemical. This, after time, gets worse and worse, making someone who smokes have slower reactions, and become less fit. These effects are irreversible, and it doesnt take long for it to start effecting your body in a noticeable way.

You never know, all the evidence was pointing at the fact that he was obviously guilty of something, even if it wasnt going to happen then and there when they shot him. It would be silly and risky of the police to wait to apprehend someone literally as they were about to bomb the station, it would be safer and better to collect enough evidence to prove his guilt then get him. They may not have expected this sudden rush, and they had to be sure to stop him.

Exactly. I felt guilty enough when I was using the underground last week with a back pack with my lunch and coat in, and I was behaving myself... So what this guy was thinking, I don't know. And it was sweltering last week. Noone on the underground wore any more than one light layer of clothing. (Some women wore barely that :D )

Please, PLEASE, PLEASE read the thread. He walked to the station from his house completely unaware he was being watched. When he entered the station he started to run, still completely unaware he was being watched. He sprinted into the ticket area, and jumped over (not through with a ticket) the ticket barrier. He then sprinted down to the platform, where he was met by twenty armed policemen waiting down there for him. They told him to stop, and he turned around and ran up the other end of the platform to get on at the furthest cariage. He tripped, fell and the policmen caught up him, and pumped him full of lead. You dont know he wasnt a terrorist, in fact you dont know anything except what the media tells you. Please read my previous posts as to why the police would say he wasnt a terrorist. They has reason to have him under surveillence in the first place, since the first bombings, and then he runs away when told to stop by armed police. EDIT: You also reckon that the guy would have thought the twenty armed blokes were not police. There has just been a bombing, the undergrounds are swarming with police, do you really think that the police wouldnt notice twenty blokes armed to the teeth with sub machine guns strolling into the station? And there are cctv cameras everywhere in underground stations, so the idea that he thought they were someone else is rediculous.

"subliminal" (Yeah, about as subliminal as being hit in the face with a brick...)

Its to stop pirating when games are released earlier in some countries than others... also we use PAL and everyone else uses NTSC, although mot TV's can d both now.. I say have global releases (and globally similar prices, not paying twice as much as the yanks (Y) ) and region free stuff. That will stop pre release pirating

Then, being God, you would cease to exist :D
