A rubber mallet is good for tightening the bolt, because you can get it tight, but being rubber its absorbs some of the shock so doesnt allow you to suddenly snap the bolt or do it too tight. Rubber mallets rule :)

With the Zona and T-Pro, apparantly after the factory that makes them for Koxx/Zoo!/whatever has made so many for Koxx/Zoo!/whatever, they are then licenced to sell the frames with slight tweakages to whomever they want. Giving you cheaper copies of the more expensive frames.

Whats going to be really annoying is if the geo is slightly different on each frame, but not enough for their to be a clear difference... if the geos all the same then you just pick the nicest looking

S'alright... just trying to make you feel guilty

Thats not very fair... and anyway, someone knowing what a sport involves doesnt make their welding any better...

Yeah I can understand on the older Zoo!s and Echo's but were talking about the new lot arent we? The welds on my Team are very nice indeed, straight, even and neat. My dad who has been an engineer all his life, whos just finished a job putting together hangers for B2 bombers ( :) ) reckons the welding on it is very impressive. I think its great that frames can be custom built from steel and produced with minimal equipment, but the batch production of alu frames doesnt make the skill needed to make them any less. The same could be said for steel... and I like to know children were slaving away over the production of my frame :(

The welding on Deng's frames are nothing short of amazing... Aluminium is harder to weld than steel, the whole reason why these companies used steel is because you can quite easily weld a frame together in your shed... whereas alu welding needs a lot more expertise and equipment and finishing. So I dont see how welding steel is craftsmanship and welding alu is not...

I'd say being it would be like inviting someone round to live in your house and them saying they wont sit down until you change the seating arrangement in your front room, even though the arrangement suits everyone who already lives in your house... Like what Snappel said really

The new Zoo! stickers are foul

Leave the V8's whack the koxx pads on the front, and get an Eno instead of an ACS

I cant possibly see the reason for getting the Ti over the Pro....the differences are so minute its silly! Oh well not that it matters, I cant afford either of them anyway :D
-
Its really bugging me, they look the same, have the same description but the 221 Pro is £120 frame only and the 221 Ti is £531.50 frame only! Whats the deal with that!? :D

Everyone seems to be drifting from the point here, were not talking about immigrants who mooch; were talking about respecting a nations values and trying to fit in. For example, my wife works with an Indian guy who has been born and bred in England, as have his parents, but he wont have white friends or do anything social with white people, because they dont conform to his culture. His religion is legally allowed to carry knives over 6 inches, where everyone else isnt. Things like this arent the actions of people who want to fit in, its the actions of people who dont want to be here. Things like, "He's Asian, how come he had a nice car?" are silly, but when it comes down to, "He's a muslim, sikh, whatever, how come he is immune to that particular law or rule that the rest of us have to follow? In our own country!?" I think it boils down to the fact that modernised, white countries are so keen to be considered as multi-cultural and pc, that a minority group can make outragous requests and be granted them for fear of being labelled a rascist country. Such as letting some religions wear religious clothing in school, and christians not. (some christians religiously wear a crucifix round their necks, no idea why, but arent allowed to in ). I mean how unfair is it that a sikh can wear his turban with his hair pinned up with a dagger, and i wasnt even allowed long hair??? If you go round someones house, you treat it how they would like you to treat it, anything else would be rude and disrespectful, and the same is considered here. In the countries of origin that some of these people come from, they have no such rights or freedoms, so you would think that the freedoms granted here would not be taken for granted. And people who have lived here all their lives who practice a different religion to others would make adjusments to it to conform with British law.

So, Mr.Monkey, had a busy day then? Where's the "Stop being an idiot, get a bike and ride" option?

The idea isnt that we wont accept other cultures and beliefs into our system; this country obviously does; its the, "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" situation, in that other cultures are welcome into a foreign land, on the premise that they will adapt as much to our culture as we will to theirs. Where they worship whoever, we build them Mosque's, they take their veil off for an ID photo. Fair enough I'd say. A land of freedom for a few minor cultural differences.

I spied a snail cam in there somewhere, so probably not.

They cant just up and leave. Bush does want to take advantage of the situation, but there is a lot more to it than that. A democracy is trying to get on its feet, and everything is very shaky, and there are countless numbers of militant groups who would just love to blow up a school bus full of kids and try to take power of Iraq for themselves. Until a full power and force are set up by Iraq's own governing body, it needs the help of competent troops to try to stop all the various militant groups from causing chaos. Remember that all the car bombs and stuff are not just aimed at the British/American forces but mostly at Iraq's own innocent civilians, and preventing these kind of actions (and they would definately be worse if their werent any military forces there, and the democracy would have been taken over), if a neccessity until Iraq can support itself. Dont forget that Bush Senior put Iraq in this situation in the first place, and pulling out and leaving them to kill each other would be unfair on the innocent people caught in the middle of it all.
