  1. Watched a couple of times and love it The riding is awesome and interesting to watch. The editing is also really well done and not over the top. Music works well! Best video in quite a while! Well done Rowan. Stan.
  2. I quite like the frame, it has some nice little touches and its different. What are the weights of these frames like? Also, you say its the stiffest frame on the market? I ain't so sure about that, especially in the weight:stiffness ratio.
  3. Ymsa for the win! Last one at Dudwood was awesome, even in solid rain all day! Shall get my entry posted soon.
  4. Benito owned!! Fontenoy has a good chance of being both 20" and 26" Junior world champ I think!
  5. Oooh Yeah The final should be a beeeeast!
  6. Is this the wall in Leeds with the slope ont tother side? If so then, beast! Nice beef btw.
  7. Give him a break! Seriously. If hes able to have a few nice bikes, then why shouldn't he? Sweet bike too Conor. Oh and they do ride a lot different to MBK's. Stan.
  8. Sweet little video Craig. Needs to be a tad longer though
  9. Cool shots Bigman! Was an ace weekend. Met loads of new people and rode loads of new stuff! Weather was ace too! Stan.
  10. Yeah saw this bike at the weekend, looked cool. The gold Hope front brake is pimp! Stan.
  11. Awesome weekend. This was my first first UCI World Cup so I wasn't sure what to expect. The amount of people watching was amazing, and also with the commentator and music playing all weekend it made for a great atmosphere! There was even a crowd round the warm area most the time. The sections were good I thought, pretty technical. Was a good feeling when you cleaned one and the crowd clapped. Fairly satisfied with 12th in qualification out of about 26 I think. Top 11 went into semi-finals which was a bit annoying for me and I was only 3 dabs behind 11th. I ended up 21st overall out of 35. I certainly enjoyed the comp though and learned a lot. The semi-final sections were very different, with a lot bigger moves in but still technical. Well done to all the brits in the semi's. The final sections were pretty much the semi-final sections reversed which a few bits changed. They were hardest sections I'd ever seen haha, some very big moves and super technical stuff. The finals were on sunday afternoon and drew a massive crowd. Got to watch some amazing riding from the likes of Kenny B, Giaco, Hermance, Benito etc. Well done to Danny on 6th position too.. he'd rode both the qualifiers and semi's so a long weekend! Other highlights.. Watching Benito bunnyhop the big pipe straight up to two wheels that everyone was hooking in the final I think it was over shoulder height... Meeting loooads of cool people and getting to know other people better. Playing crazy golf with Ali They seem to be big on it in Belgium! Our hotel being 2 minute walk from the beach and comp. Looking forward to round 3 in Germany Stan.
  12. Think im guna be there Should be cooooooool. Stan.
  13. I would rather stay the night and ride both Rhyl and Ogwen. I really want to ride Rhyl! Stan.
  14. Sweet pictures! I want to ride there again!
  15. My worst ride at a competition ever I think Found the sections very hard, and personally didn't enjoy them. I also didn't feel great before or during the comp which didn't help I guess. Also took a big fall on section 8, battering my hand and knee and got a puncture on another section. I duno, I just had a bad day I guess. Thanks to the observers and organisers, and respect goes to Alan and Carol Slinger for driving all that way to help. I hope Rochdale is more fun Stan.
  16. Most people who are traveling down from the North will be setting off around now I guess, like us.
  17. I am seriously considering wether to go. All that is on the news this morning is floods everywhere and motorways being closed etc. I am hearing stories of people being stuck on the motorway for 7+ hrs all night. I don't know what to do as we are due to set off on a 5hr journey (if the roads are competely clear) very soon. Edit: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6909633.stm
  18. So has the Bracken round been completely canceled? If so this would mean there will be 3 very southern rounds (2 at Hook Woods and 1 at Kelly Farm) leaving just 1 northern round and the one in South Wales. Not great us for us Northerners Surely the British Championships shouldn't need to use the same venue twice in 1 year?!!! I for one don't mind traveling but having two rounds at the same venue in one year isn't great. I would like to see more variety in venues and with a greater spread around the country.
  19. I hope the round at Rochdale is moved to another date, Surely it would benefit both trials and riders if this happens?
  20. Is Kelly Farm still in a good state to ride? After the Mototrial and rain etc.. Also when is the Bracken round? The website doesn't seem updated yet.
