Cheers dude! Yeah I agree on the slick front, I think there pretty good and most people will instantly right it off, but when you try it, its ok. On the drilling of my frame. I probably wouldn't do it again considering how much effort it was. I've never modified a frame before and had to do it at least once I guess. Stan.

They will be available to buy pretty soon! Saved 90grams. My wheel is still pretty dam true. Had that rim for about 6 weeks at least now. Its weaker, but Its still fine I reckon as you don't do massive drops etc.

Rode natural at the weekend with the slick tyre on and found it really good! The rocks were pretty grippy like, but it still impressed me. One thing I love about the tyre is its so stable and does not squirm or fold at all. Really liking it! Also now its worn in some more I think its more grippy, the compound is quite soft. It will be shit in the wet I reckon, but for dry it seems fine so far.

Yeah, top addition to the team! As Dave says, got to ride street with him while in Barcelona and he is extremely good!! He is a very powerful rider but smooth as well. He is a really nice guy as well and easy to chat too!

Your best video yet by quite a long way too I think! The music suited the footage perfectly! The riding was super smooth, lots of different moves too and natural Good stuff Bigman, make more videos like this I want to ride that place on the beach in summer! Pleaaaase!

Looks sweet John You certainly got it built up quick! Only dispatched it yesterday Stealth theme is ace!

My Tryall cranks were pretty battered and quite old so I wanted some new cranks and I've had that Ti Bash lying around for about a year so seemed a good choice! You Scottish basher The burns including bash are the same weight as the Tryalls inc bash/sprocket I've only had 2 Ozonys frames, both the 2007 model. They are both still going I have been to edit some videos for ages, but having problems getting footage to play etc. I have around 2/3hrs footage Cheers for the comment though!

Haha, why not beef you fingers up and use an elastic band too?
-
Geo feels very similar to Cannibal, but it is longer. I am not sure if my forks are affecting it though, they are really old lol. 1100 WB 385mm rear end +40mm BB 72degree headangle. I think thats roughly right. Nah returns fine The spring behind the piston is pretty powerful.
-
Makes the lever easier to pull, so it feels amazing! You can adjust the feel too by moving the elastic band further down the lever... Try it and see
-
Not really, there is only around 1mm of tread left on most of them Tis quite difficult to cut flush.
-
No one has spotted the patented Ali C elastic band on the lever yet Its a cool little trick!
-
Yeah definately! Would be well fast haha!
-
Cheers! I think I've got around 20psi in it, maybe more. Its slightly harder than normal.

The compound seems pretty soft! The main area of the tyre is just slightly thicker than the sidewalls. It weighs in at 591g which is forkin light! A slick tyre will take ages to wear anyway as the pressure/grip is spread around the surface rather forced onto a couple of knobbles. Not tried one on the rear, as I think the rear tyre is worked much harder and in different ways so it needs the knobbles. I suppose it could be worth a shot, but I'm not sure.

I've seen a DOB rim single wall and it lasted all of 5 minutes, haha. They only thing I can think of to make it lighter, is latex tubes front and rear and chop my hanger. Only rode with that tyre for 2/3hrs, but so far I like it more than one with tread. You get more feel through the tyre, and its suuuuuuper stable, basically there are no knobbles to bend or squirm so it feels very sturdy! Seems to grip your average street stuff very well. Not tried on natural yet, but will do this weekend. The only downside I can see of the tyre is wet conditions, but it only takes 2 mins to change it.

Don't knock the front tyre until you try it. Its very good!

Ello all. Finally built my new Ozonys XR26 frame after doing some modifications to it and sourcing some parts. Tried to get it as light as possible, weighs in at 9.26kg which I am happy with. Been for a ride tonight and I really like it! Geo is similar to the Cannibal but the wheelbase is slightly longer. Feels really stable on the rear wheel and with the bike being lighter, it feels really nippy. The front tyre is awesome!!! It was a pure experiment to see if would be good and so far on street its ace. Also got some new updated Echo Cylinders which seem very good so far, they are a much nicer shape. These are being held in place by some prototype Try-all clamps which are pretty pimp. Quick Spec: Frame: Ozonys XR26 2008. Forks: Atomz, soon to be Trialtech. Stem: Trialtech which looks pimp in white! Also with Trialtech carbon spacer. Bars: Trialtech Prototypes. Rear Brake: Echo CNC lever and cylinders, Try-all Prototype Brake clamps, Trialtech Ti bolts and also some prototype Trialtech pads. Cranks: Middleburns with a Ti bash. Bottom Bracket: Trialtech M15 Lite with Monty Alloy bolts. Pedals: Trialtech Magnesium with Ti axles. Rims: DOB Front and Try-all rear modified to be single wall. Hubs: Viz front disc. Chris King SS Rear with Trialtech Lite Sprocket and carbon spacer. Rear Tyre: Maxxis high roller which has been cut. Front Tyre: Try-all Slick 2.35. Thanks to my sponsors: TartyBikes, Trialtech and Ozonys! Onto the pictures taken by Adam@TartyBikes. White for the win! Stem looks pimp and is super light! New Echo Cylinders.. Taken a lot of material out of the yoke, you can see right through the back of the BB yoke and out of the headtube. A proper slick tyre! Video soon! Stan.
