Yeah, well done Ali! Enjoyed the event very much. The venue is awesome. I need to get fitter lol! Also got bad hand cramp which coupled with a shit rear brake isn't great. I was happy with some of my cleans though. Sections were well laid out and the man made stuff is so good! Massive thanks to Carol and Alan Slinger, plus all the observers, section setters etc.

Thats not the 12 minute I'm referring too But the one you posted is footage from the same rides etc, just a different but still amazing video. I think the long one is called "rough cut" or something.

Still amazing to watch and the footage is so old as well. The 12 minute full video is still my favorite trials video to date.

Wooo Gilles finally won the World Champs! At the last couple of World Cups his riding has been on another level and his results are coming through now. Also well done to all the English lads who rode too.

Was a fun ride. Some cool pics. Liking the ones from a distance. Shame you didn't catch me sidehopping the wall below the big block Riding natural was fun at the end!

Right after having the tyre for a few weeks and ridden it on most surfaces I can say that for street I am not going back to a treaded tyre. The slick is awesome on street. The majority of people have slated the tyre saying it won't grip this and that, but it grips fine and it is super stable, no squirm what so ever. The other weekend I rode some really dusty rocks and at first it was difficult, but after an hour or so I forgot I even had a slick tyre. I think a tyre with tread may have been slightly better but not massively. Obviously the tyre isn't going to perform to well on wet stuff or mossy rocks. I think tread is needed there. Before you slag it off at least try it for a few rides. I know Ali C is getting on well with his.

Is this the end of YMSA Club Trials all together Dave? Please say it isn't! although I will understand your reasons fully if it is. Personally I think the YMSA trials are the best club trials in UK, the atmosphere is the best of any trial around and the level is good in every category. The sections are always good and marked out well and they are well organised, plus they are UCI format which is the future of trials. I am not having a dig at Tyketrial or any other club before anyone starts, I just think it will be a BIG shame to lose this series. If the YMSA continues, please people at least give them a go, I doubt you will be dissapointed! Stan.
