  1. Hello everyone, just finished a new video. It's a little bit different to previous ones I've done, so please let me know if you think its good or bad The video can be downloaded here at www.trialtech.co.uk Massive thanks to Dave at Trialtech for hosting the video, everyone who filmed and of course my sponsors! Cheers, Stan. Ps. The video plays in Windows Media Player and VLC fine for me, but I know some people can't get it to work in WMP, so I'd recommend the VLC Player.
  2. Awesome stuff. Really nice site, and simple to use too Some of them pics are funny! Cap has a right grin on, mid gap in one of them!
  3. Really nice video and very smooth riding with lines too!
  4. The fun you can have with a cliff, rocks, ice and steel pole!
  5. That was quick mate! Some cool pics, I think they came out OK Was a decent ride and a good laugh too Shame my disc leaked though! That place is the curse of front brakes for me.
  6. Soo true that! It's just the initial bit of when you get out of the car and your freezing your bollocks off at the start of the ride, I hate that bit lol. After 20mins though, it's fine and you don't notice like you say
  7. Aye, probably the easiest way lol. Although Skewers look horrible haha, and bolts are lighter :$ We'll see I guess.
  8. Haha Duno, bodge it maybe? Actually thinking about, you can get Chris King HD axle inserts that you screw in to allow you to use a skewer with a HD axle. A skewer would be OK to becuase the wheel ain't going anywhere with the dropout design.
  9. Pump your tire up a little If your not bothered about weight, then the Trialtech Race rim which Damon mentioned will be stronger
  10. If it's at Reading which I'm guessing it is now, then I think I will come Never been to Reading and people rave on about it so it's got to be worth a drive.
  11. You clearly have no idea what you are on about. It's a shame the frame won't work with a Chris King or Hope Pro2 hub But I guess the french probably don't even know what they are lol, and the majority of comp riders use a freewheel anyway. I'm am glad they have got the weight back down too. 1750g is light and Ozony's frames have always been strong enough in my opinion
  12. They make a shorter DH version too they say it's for "Extreme DH use" lol.
  13. Of course Max I knew if I said it though, someone would give that bull crap answer of "Your only saying that because you ride for them", so I didn't bother. The Ozonys is an excellent frame. Mine is nearly 8 months old and is still going strong. The down tube can take a few knocks as well, it's not paper thin like a lot of comp frames. You also get internal headset system on the Ozonys which I think is better than the external style. It's stiffer, lighter and more clean looking. Stan
  14. The man speaketh the truth!
  15. Rohloff's are designed for DH use I think which ain't bad. Them Paul tensioner's look like they'd do the job fine, but I reckon if your spending that sort of money on a tensioner then it has to be a Rohloff as they are awesome bits of kit and look a bit tougher than them.
  16. They are awesome rims, a good mix of strength, lightness value etc I've had mine for ages now and they are spot on. Front ones with square holes are quite light too.
  17. Both ride really nice and will be a big improvement over the BT
  18. Bit short notice, but still you never know. Me, Kyle and Wayne will be there around 11ish. Parking in that car near McDonalds on the docks. Anyone else fancy it?
  19. Comas rides stock like a mod, it looks silly No one is going to beat Gilles anyway, he is superman. Comas can try and beat Benito, as there was no one even close to him on 20" last year.
  20. Skills! Comas looks way better on Mod and I hope he stays on it. His style suits 20" better.
  21. Amazing site Dave! I really am impressed! Very clean professional look. I feel lucky to be a part of it!
  22. I might come. Weather doesn't look great, but I'll check again nearer the time.
  23. If you only weigh 6 1/2 stone then 15-17 psi should be reet. Best bet is to take pump out with you and play about with different pressures.
  24. Ta Ben, good to see people trying different tires to Maxxis. I've still got the Rubber Queen on and I love it, the wear rate is astonishing considering how grippy it is. Also got a "different" front tire on the way that I'm hoping will be good! Is the one you have the lighter one at 750 grams ish? That is very light for a rear tire! Also have you tried a Rubber Queen and how does the Big Earl compare to it?
