  1. Is anyone watching Super size me on channel 4? If not, then whack it on, its truely scary. Its basically aboot a guy who is eating mcdonalds every meal for a month. Just shows why all americans are fat. Seems like fatness will be the downfall of the great "superpower", hah, they deserve it. (Y)"
  2. Yarr, theres a guy who just rides around town with his girlfriend on a woodstock, never stopped to talk, and he just seems to ride by thinking hes cool. I would love it if he would show us some good stock riding, as all of us loosers here in hastings ride mod.
  3. Set mine up using the instructions, even with a slightly buckled rotor, it was still gravy. Bedded it in with muddy water, better than any other disc brake ive ever felt.
  4. Unless he got another, then i bought his zoo stem, sorry mate. Cant wait to try it out with my onza carbon risers!
  5. Looks very nice, ive never seen a bike that could look bad in BRG, its an amazing colour!
  6. Go for the old ones, the new ones are 40 quid more and weigh 240 grams more. Theyve made an already strong fork stronger, but heavier, rather pointless imo, the old ones are good, but keep your headset tight, i snapped mine because of a loose headset, or so ive been told.
  7. I like those 661 shin guards a hell of a lot, but do they protect well? they look quite thin.
  8. Well, i was kinda cheating, ive only been riding about 3 weeks of that (Y)" But they do work well. Any pictures of this monty rim with the same finish?
  9. Damn brake pads being so complicated. My koxx yellows have gone 2 months without any noticeable wear on a grind, beat that (Y) When are you going to bring out these super pads then tarty? Been waiting months! Bah, damn your secret edit tool.
  10. But surely getting super hard pads to counteract the wear rate kinda defeats the object of doing it in the first place. Why not just have a normal grind with slightly softer pads?
  11. Maybe the cones are loose? Sounds like what mine did when i had an unsealed wheel.
  12. I quite like, still undecided though. Hah, dont you mean, isnt the rotor on the viz site the same as the echo one (Y)
  13. Well if they its the one with little hedgehogs cut out, im guessing theyre fairly strong, as they are just the run of the mill onza ones with a fancy hole. Mine has lasted me nearly 6 months (although its the one without the holes) and only has one dent. All based on assumptions though, so could be completely wrong., but id say theyre quite good rims.

    Mod Bars

Well iv'e just bought the onza risers, if theyre not too my liking, ill see if someone wants to trade a set of zoo's with them. They sound like they should be very nice anyway, woo.

    Mod Bars

Yeah im considering them, but its a throw up between the 34 pound onza's and the zoo's. Onzas are carbon and lighter, so i dunno. Ive been offered x-hydras so im thinking about getting them.

    Mod Bars

Just a few questions about mod bars. Firstly: are there any bars i should specifically stay away from if i like my face. Secondly: Ive seen onza carbon risers on bikedock for 34 pounds, are they dodgy or something, as theyre 52 from tartybikes. Thirdly: Monty X hydra bars, how long would they last, and what would i expect to pay for a second hand pair in fairly good condish. Cheers, Phil.
  17. Yeh, some sites have little pictures. T-f rather appropriately has a little sprocket. For some reason, tartybikes has a google G on mine :(
  18. Tim Rice-Oxley Dont even remember copying that.
  19. I know it happened a few weeks ago, but i thought it deserved its own topic, and never got round to it. Basically, as im such a strong little chap, i busted my echo team forks. Im only 9 stone, and dont do hooks or anything, so i dont really get how the broke. I pulled the steerer apart, whilst attempting a static to back wheel. I found this a bit silly, considering i assumed they were uber strong, and i was wondering if anyone else has broken a pair of them. Im getting a free pair, woo, but it could take years knowing tim.
  20. Trials shack link Thanks to someone on OTN who shacked it apparently.
  21. Its alright, love the cow though. 3rd pic, what the hell is going on? The chain is on the wrong side! It really confused me, photoshopped?
  22. Cranks and forks look lovely. Not sure about the strength of the forks where the cnc bit meets the fork legs though, looks a bit weak :o
  23. I got some brown cordy jeaney things from next, 25 quid, theyre nice.
