  1. My pads are gone, i think i may invest in bloxx. Heatsinks: 7 days - £14 = (Y) Bloxx: 365 days - £18 = :D
  2. Rather nice video. I want to be able to ride like you. Yik shoes fall apart.
  3. Umm, earn it yourself, they have to. (Y) 1. People who think i can only bunnyhop higher than them because my bike is lighter.
  4. I know they're not ribos. But do not buy YIK shoes, the soles are ripping after 4 days solid riding. For whatever they are, its not worth it. Ive heard good things bout Ribo's though :P
  5. 1. Revision 2. Exams 3. Nerves
  6. Not that i really know, but surely the point of the stem is to bring the bars up to the rider (because he is higher due to higher bb) so like with a mod, its meant to have quite a bit of rise...
  7. My konigs are brilliant when set up flat to the rim. They wore pretty fast in the first 3 days, about 3/4mm. They arent wearing so fast now, but theyre set up is pretty dodgy and they arent working as good as they could. Still better than koxx yellows though.
  8. Well maybe its only teams that go there. Snapped teams thread. I guess your right sharn, just, bleh, im trying to reassure myself that teams are good forks and mine snapped for a reason.
  9. If you think about it, having a short steerer means that more force goes through a smaller area of the steerer when you are breaking, front hopping, hooking and other things like that. Its your face, do what you will, but be careful. Thats exactly it, they snap at the bottom of where the stem clamps.
  10. When it does snap, you wont pull the bars so far that your brake cables snap. :)"
  11. I think thats what caused the steerer on my teams to snap, take out any spacers you are running, or just get new forks. It should last a few months, but its not really worth the risk. Run a headlock if your really worried.
  12. The road i live on is unadopted, so apparently theres no speed limit and you can drive at any age on it, you dont even need a licence.
  13. Hes safe, ill pm you his mobile number.
  14. They always get my stuff to me the day after i order it.
  15. Yeah, they go around the bit which goes through the dropout slot so it has to be a generic size, in this case 10mm.
  16. That was brilliant, made me laugh so much.
  17. Snail cams of david, work very well.
  18. I snapped my bash and had to go without it for a while, im sure its fine if you have a bash ring as well, but it pissed me off so much. I felt restricted because i was scared of hitting my freewheel and denting my frame. Dont do it, unless you have a bashring.

Its lovely tom, burns go great! Get out there and ride!
  22. Anyone else got any advice? I want a more fancy rotor than the normal avid one preferably, and they are fairly expensive as well. I think im gunna get the aztec rotor in 185. Looks to be light, and a very nice design. Would a "Avid Caliper Bracket For 185mm IS" be the right mount?

    Cracked Koxx

Leave school for a frame? Seems a bit OTT. Try and get it welded, or just ride it for a while and see if you can borrow cash for a new one? If you find a proper alu welder, he should know what he's doing and will heat treat it again for you, i assume.
  24. Righto, just two fairly small questions. Firstly, i want to upgrade my rotor from the pretty buckled avid rotor that came with my avid mechanical. I want something thats light, and will give more bite, not really bothered about loosing heat fast. I don't really want people who don't have experience with rotors to just say, "well i've heard so and so is good" i want to know how well your rotor works :D Secondly, when i get a new rotor, i want to get either a 180 or 200 rotor. Now i'm no genius, but i guess i need an adaptor :D" so if anyone can give me some links to good +20/40 mm adaptors, and advice on rotor size. I know 160 should be fine (20" wheels, i weigh 9 stone) but i get lazy and don't want to pull the lever that hard, so would 200 be way over the top, or is 180 my best bet? I like money in my pocket, cheap is good, but so is something that lasts 2 years. Phil.
