A quick search for koxx reveals a vid of benito and another lil vid of a koxx rider. Looks like the hosting of the future for trials.

Right, ive got my mates viz hub here, its the one with the different sized flanges. Im stuck, i cant get the trailing spokes on the freewheel side in, cos they just hit the bigger flange. Any one got any ideas of how to get it in?

Ive never had a pad that was silent on a grind, apart from when my yellows went really crap. Then they just swooshed. Surely unless you have a six inch thick steel booster, then theres still gunna be vibrations, ie. noise. My grind, which i havent redone in a good 3 months, is almost smooth, yet i still get amazing lock with koxx reds. Why not try some koxx pads on a koxx rim JT, sounds logical?

Dont listen to them! :D Hope XC is a good hub, with good service if it breaks. BUT, if you arent heavy, then the Am Classic is way better IMO, mine has withstood 6 months of pretty heavy riding, and about 2-3 months of a lot of frontwheel gaps. You can save weight, woo. Oh and it looks cooler ;)

If you want weight saving, American Classic. If you dont want weight saving, American Classic. Mine runs smoother than a hope, its 2/3 the weight of an XC. Great hub. Although, if your over 11 stone, or consider yourself a heavy rider, then maybe go for something a tad stronger, Xc maybe.

I think its growing, but very slowly as only a few hardcore riders stick with it. I think its because larger sports, mainly bmxing tend to draw trialsers away, because although there is a lot of things you can do on say, a single wall, its more fun to ride in bigger groups and always learn new tricks at the skatepark. Trials is very much a specialist sport, which in my opinion limits the amount of riders. Its very expensive and the response from people is a tad annoying. Ie "wheres your seat" etc etc. In my area it grew, and then shrunk.

Heh, made me laugh. I think the whole converstaion is really interesting, i would love to become some physics bloke who discovered some new thing, like the quarks, i'd love to be learnt about in the future and my amazing discoveries. Better get my B in maths so i can do it at A level.

Im not sure, ive never seen a pair of try-alls. The soles seem pretty weak, but apart from that, theyre good, maybe go for montys instead.

I have used them, after one week or so, the soles started to fall apart and come off, they are still useable at the mo, but i thought that was a bit shoddy for 60 pound shoes.

Did it have sealed bearings? If not, that was why.

Whats wrong with internal headsets? From my experience, they are much better, and seem to stay smooth for longer. + They dont flare headtubes.

No, i cry if people ride my bike because thats all they do. I make sure i never drag my brake, i used koxx yellows for 6 months so they would have died if i did.
