  1. Yeah, about 3 months after i bought it. I havent recently due to the fact i cant get my cranks off, stupid threads are stripped and i dont like the hammer and wedge idea too much.
  2. Yeah, but my point is that its already 9 months old, and i dont want to spend £150 on a frame that will snap in the next month or two. I could save for a zona or something instead of wasting it!
  3. My king is going to be run on whatever frame i have, so i guess ill have to think whether its worth it.
  4. Why are people still saying this, i thought it was obvious (Y)
  5. Onza cranks are invincible, mine are still good as new after a year, heavy though. Get the echo's.
  6. Humm de hummmm. Why oh why do they crack! Im guessing all these cracks are at the chainstay?
  7. Yeah i suppose, but has anyone cracked a 2005?
  8. That was a powerpad backing, as are all his new pads.
  9. Mines been extremely good. I bought it because i couldnt afford a profile in the first place, but it has lasted me almost a year now and it still working great. It skips every few weeks, but it doesnt really make any difference because of the great engagement. My lock ring comes loose occasionally, but apart from that, i would definitly recommend it. Fit and forget!
  10. Im *hopefully* going to be getting a 2nd hand 221Ti, its 1 year old but has only been ridden for 7-8 months. I know the older monty's tend to crack when used with a profile, like this one has, but its a 2005 Ti so i thought the problem may have been solved. So basically, i want to know how many of you know anyone who has snapped either a 2004/5/6 monty and whether they used a profile. Im going to be using a king bmx, so dont really want my new frame to snap in a few days.
  11. Ah cool, thought it might have been a 5mm spacer. Should have measured it, Doh. :)
  12. Will that be a problem on the isis bb i got from you?

    Picture War

Maybe i got carried away; Genital warts beats slag.
  14. Bear in mind its better to have a name beginning with letters near the beginning of the alphabet. Something to do with tax or something, my step mum always bangs on about it heh.
  15. My bikeshop was called bikeshack, i didnt want to get sued so i changed my name. Check companies house website (government database of registered companies) if you want to use a name, because if someone else has it, you may get screwed.
  16. Haha, the first video sucks, you can so blatantly tell it's just been fast forwarded by watching the bird in the background.
  17. Logically, it wont cost more than the GU Stock frame, probably around the same.
  18. The only thing better than an avid would be a mono trial. Stick with the avid unless im confused and youve completely screwed the caliper or something.

    Car For

Someones a bit sure of themself. I agree with simon. Im gunna crash when i start driving.
  20. Ham and pineapple pizza, better than when it was warm!
  21. You may have dished it slightly, having one pad closer just means youll get less bite from your brake, but it wont affect hold.
  22. Oh, Ti also has internal headset. I think basically the Pro is slightly lower quality, although the price difference is a bit extreme.
  23. The 221ti is tri-butted and has an integrated booster. Frame height is also 8.5 inches instead of 9. The Pro is tig welded, not sure about the Ti but it doesnt mention that in my catalogue.
  24. Because i hear that spokes pull out of the rim all the time doing trials (Y) Viz rims even have the reaaaaally strong hex holes. I want the new echo rims, now! Damn onza not having any ronnies! Crap, they only do 32 hole, damn fatmike and his 36 holes. Ping Pong deserves a beating for this! (Quick edit rocks)
