Well, it was a dealer, but my mum foolishly didnt pay extra for the cover thing, so they may bum me cos of that, but i would say 4 days is a bit shoddy no matter what. He seemed like a nice guy, but it was a bit shadey, so i just gotta hope for the best i guess.

Hmm, well, i only bought it like 4 days ago, damn rip off merchants. Ill take it back and scream in their faces until they do something. Are there any laws about second hand cars, like they must fix stuff that breaks within 3 months, or am i being over optimistic.

Hah, if only. How would i check the battery voltage? If the alternator is broken, are we talking get a new car, or get a new alternator? The only thing i know about my car, is how to check the oil, haha.

Alright then mechanics. My car is being a gay. I shall explain the whole situation in the hope that someone knows something, has had the same experience, or is just very clever. I went driving with my buddies and bikes to eastbourne yesterday, all was fine, completed the 50 mile round trip and got back to my humble abode. An hour or so later, i thought i would nip down to my girlfriends house, and as im a lazy kid, i drove the 5 minute walk. Went to put my lights on at the end of my drive sort of thing, and the car died. The engine just went off, all the electronics went off as well. So, me thinking i was an idiot and had stalled, somehow, i started the engine. Went to turn left, and it died again. This time i noticed, when i restarted the engine, that the clock and date had been reset to 00.00 and 01.01.1992 This happened a fair few times, either straight after i started the engine, or as i tried to get into second gear, until eventually it stayed on long enough to get down the hill and to my lady friends. The same thing happened this morning on the journey back, except it only cut out twice. One time, it cut out, but a few seconds later came back on, without me having to stop. It seems like their is a dicky connection or something, and that sometimes a wire dosent touch and the engine just goes out, only to reconnect and start again. Previously, the engine electronics light had been coming on, but the manual said it was ok to carry on driving if it went out again, which it did, but only once i restarted the engine. Its a Vauxhall Corsa Swing, 1994. Google said it could be a dodgy ECU, which is £150 to replace. Anyone got any bright ideas, i know i should ring a garage, but i get the feeling they will rape me as im only a wee child.

If you use the front brake you can sort of wheelswap to get onto the backwheel. This needs more momentum though, i think. I tend to just go pretty fast and bunnyhop into it, but its smoother when you go slow and pedal up.

Wii's controller thingy looks cool, but i think the PS3 sounds better in terms of power, and games. Nintendo games always seemed quite childish... Says in that article twice as powerful, 2 teraflops or something, whatever they are. Graphics card sounds pretty nuts, it can run two HD displays

Yeah, just watching a vid of it on nintendo website. Can the other consoles do this sort of stuff? Far too much work for me to find it all out.

Rumble pissed me off most of the time. What do the motion sensors do? Never really liked nintendo, have always been a sony kid. Despite that, i do love the xbox, so im sure i would love the 360. Whats the Wii got to offer?

I hope you mean a new magura bled with water! I had forgotten how crap the oil is till i felt a new one yesterday. Dont get avid flakjacket cables btw, they sux0r. Oops, i mean dont get straight jacket, theyre rubbish, get the flakjacket if you can afford.

Decent lever and cables and it will be fine. If you still find it a bit hard, as said above, just ease off the spring tension, its not like the pads have gotta snap back fast anyway.
