  5. Well, considering the yellow and white monty's are differenent softness's, then you are wrong.
  6. I know its only from my experience and im a naive child n all that, but i never heard of many people cracking the shells of the mono's and xc's. Does the extra force of the strengthened pawls n the like mean more force onto the shell?
  7. If they are the monty tyres with the yellow ring, then go for them. I got one a week ago, and i must say its pretty good. Grip rivals Creepy, maybe slightly less. More bouncey. Possibly lighter, not sure as i only had an extremely worn creepy to compare to. Doesn't fold as easily.
  8. But its ENGLISH!!!!oneone

    New Monty Mod...

Without a doubt, that will be my next frame, as long as EMA coughs up for my bonus, woop.
  11. Under bonnet (obviously) and then root around. It will probably be near the windscreen wipers on the left (looking from infront of car)
  12. If i had the dorrah, then i would. I always liked them, but was put off by the leakage problems.
  13. True, but assuming they aren't idiots, then they will have. Didn't mean to sound that harsh, just hope they've got it right this time.
  14. I've got something in the pipeline if tom will let me.
  15. How come you got one of the new ones to try? Oh no, wait, you havent. Don't make judgements before anyone has even got them. (Apart from obviously the guy on OTN)
  16. Monty's are flexy, so as you said, they could just be cracks in the paint. Still, i rode a cracked, well two, echo frames for around 6 months each, and could have been longer if it hadn't just got to a stage where the flex was silly.
  17. How many people do you hear saying they snapped their echo/koxx/onza forks, just as many, so i think saying they are weak because of that may be a bit harsh. Scoring definitly indicates something was wrong, i'd figure that out before putting new forks on.
  18. Tis really cool, but need some way to make it smoother!
  19. /\ Loves me. < Buy my stuff \/ Is eating cheese...
  20. I remember it, but have no idea where to get the vid. That was useful
  21. Get a shimano UN53 from wiggle.com Cheap as chips, and everlasting too. You can probably use a 112.5 or something like that, as exiles aren't exactly trialsy frames in terms of chainstay width, but if you want to be safe get 122.5 or something.
  22. Monty's just cant be bad in my eyes. But the paint job i am undecided upon, kinda cool, but kinda not. Lower bb hence longer feeling? I dunno geo of the t-lite so cant say.

    New 20" Frame

High BB - Shorter feel, easier on the rear wheel, twitchy. Low BB - More solid feel, harder on the rear, i feel it allows you to put more power down as the rear end doesnt flick out as much. Long Stays - Lots of leverage. Short Stays - Rear end flicks out quickly, easier to get on the rear. Long Reach (guess its the only thing you could be thinking of) - Considered better for sidehops and gaps, but not so at home on natural. Short Reach - Easier to throw around, manual, and bunnyhop. Coupled with a lower BB (as with monty's) they are great for both natural and street. Reach as depends on height greatly, as a short rider wont want a stupidly long bike for obvious reasons.
