  1. It is the level boss...the one i spoke about ti in the other topic ^_^ their both completely random!!!
  2. Im pretty much the same! I can do around 50" to pedal though and my bumps are heading towards the 45" mark now but that only to two wheels. I can probably bump about the same size wall as my sidehop to rear wheel, is anyone elses sidehops and bumps about the same??? EDIT: oh yea and just for reference, my t-rex with a 2mm spacer and onza bar and stem has a bar height of 38" quite low compared to others whcih are more like 39" or 40".
  3. Well in my opinion, my circa MA707's are far superia to any other shoes or trials percific shoes i have seen. Because of they're extremely grippy nobberly sole, the great padding (making them super comfortable) and their classic brilantly manufacture. All for £50! ^_^ I think i will be keeping these for a while...
  4. Did anyone see the prototype before this 1? It looked even more crap...there were two bent tubes like the pitbull/t-rex but going from the chainstays instead of the top tube. Although it doesn't seem to me that they have made any improvments to this one. They're both COMPLETELY RANDOM!! If there are any actual advantages of having a very weird seat tube such as this one, i will be amazed and intreged. well as people have said, 'Its different' ^_^

    Local Vid

Nice little vid! why is it called St.Martins, thats the name of my school ^_^
  6. I've finally worked out what has been skipping!! It was my fixed rear wheel! It has broken inside therefore began to move. The prawls were still working though because it was skipping. The locktite didn't really seem to work though, i didn't really even set properly, (Y) . Probably going to buy a new hub now. Steve I'm still going to buy the ENO btw.

    2005 Control

I love it mate! I think its great how the entire top tube + seat stays are a straight line looks very sleek! I must say i don't really like the new logos though (the big E's). Looks like it will ride very nice though. :turned:
  8. Nice vid mate :turned: like the sidehops, although i couldn't work out what technique you were using. the gaps were nce, i see you are using the space to your advantage. one thing i would say i to now try and improve your wheelie hops because thats the only thing the video was lacking. nice riding for just swapping to stock though, have you improved since you rode mod or not?
  9. Yea well i dont have much choice it seems. I'll just get the ENO :turned: I know somewhere where i can get 1 well cheap so its worth a try.
  10. Yeah i did know about them but i never really appeared to be a good option. Lots of people cracked them from what i heard and i didn't really hear any good comments at all. The only thing i liked was the noise they made. Aren't they more suited to mods anyway?
  11. EDIT: quote Bucky But the whole point was that i changed to front freewheel because they're apparently alot stronger than hubs!!! I used to break my HOPE bulb every 2 months and now it seems i can break an ACS in 1 month. Arrggg! :turned:
  12. I sprayed bike spray into both sides of the freewheel, which just seemed to make it worse. Ad101 suggested it to me so im blamin' it all on him :turned: . Can hardly walk now. :)
  13. I've had my ACS claw for about a month now and very recently its been skipping much to my surprise. I just went out on my bike after getting home from school today and the skips were getting worse and more frequent. Then i went and put some bike spray on the freewheel and tried it again, it sounded really loud and gritty this time. As i cruised out of my garage i went to pedal and SMACK!! i get a half a turn skip and complete crack my knee on the stem :) . Firstly why would this happen and whats the best idea to try and fix it, keeping in mind that my crank is a bitch to get off. Also what is the strongest freewheel available? I thinking of getting the white industries ENO (green, which is apparently heavy duty)? cheers, Steve :turned:

    My First Video

Yea i know. Why do you think people retire or give up...although the all time greats will always be great but probably wont improve very much, just like younger riders wont improve much at a young age.

    Bt Video 2

SWISH video there chris!! Some lovely bumps in there. Did it hurt when you landed on your balls 'cause i did that not to long ago and the results were  , Although you are quite tall. If thats your only second street video, what have you been riding your whole life, natural??? Steve

    My First Video

Yea it blatantly does because younger riders are normally smaller, weaker and not fully developed for their full potential in trials and this therefore restricts them from doing lots of moves. I think people that start trials at about 16 or more learn a lot faster as well because they have more confidence to push themselves and they are a lot more physically fit. I started when i was 12 and the first year and a half i didn't really learn that much, mainly the basics like pedal kicks, front pivots, bunnyhops etc. It only seems in the last year and a half that i have really started to improve fast! Steve :D EDIT: O yeah i forgot. Well good video there mate, it looks as if you have your gaps and sidehops dialed! Lots of variation, i like it! Nice to see more riders the same age as me and about the same level. keep it up :S
  17. Ahhh man! There are some well old names there. I didnt even know Adam Burns or Danny Holroyd did comps. and for Barry Deeks and Stuart Matthews beating Ben Savage i find that quite funny.
  18. I need some new grips! Does everyone really think that foam grips are the ways to go (Ritchey WCS Truegrip) because im lost for choice. I want a normal sized grip!
  19. Can i ask, Does anyone think a front magura on reverse fork mounts comes anywhere close to the power and proformance of a disc brake? ...Because maybe new forks would be a better choice than a front disc???
  20. Not really just the same siza as the cassette lock ring, i think. DMR do some if your stuck. Steve
  21. I dont know what to suggest it seems monty super thin grips or just normal thickness grips that everyone else uses. It sounds like you have been well unluckly but i thought the monty grips always tore very easy, but dont actually fall off. Have you rang Monty or Cleanbikes about them?
  22. Yea as ad101 said: 'I used locktite'. It seemed to work fine but i would advise you to try and use something light. You dont want to shuv loads of stuff in your hud that it weighs a tone! The best idea for locking hubs up a think is to just araldite the prawls into position, thats all you need! Unless you force the pedals really hard going down a hill (Y)
  23. My God! Thats was...insane! (Y) .... :) ....Shit! I thought he was good but not THAT good. Im pleased some of it was slowed down so i could see what was happening and i didnt get a head ache. geezs

    Dam Spanish

I cant believe that guy jumped on that rail while it was someones wedding! ...and jumping in the water, now thats extreme...was he trying to sidehop out :S He does some well nice and big sidehops though. :S
  25. Over 32...oh my god i didnt even relise anyone was that old on this forum anyway. You guys are proper legends. I reckon there are actually quite a large amount of people below the age of 14 because many begineers ride at comps, nearly the same, maybe more than 14-16 and 17-19. It would be nice to see people ages matched with ability. Such as James Porter's level and his age are very good where as Martin Hawyes' isnt so good (i dont have anything against him at all, he is still a complete master of trials). Interesting. I'm 15! :S
