I find it helps to take off from the edge on drop gaps but not on flat gaps. I seem to fall into the gap when i do it. I feel that the pinch pushes out and down, not upwards... :)
-
Yea but it doesnt have any drilled rimage! Id prefere the Koxx original :)
-
Me and the lads have got another vid soonish... It could happen...Whats up for grabs?
-
Bloody hell Damon...how big??? This new video is gonna be immense  Nice to here it ended up in hospital... :ermm: So toenail drillings is his secret...im gonna go for some punched out hogs :( Steve

Yea i like the idea of Onza doing a 24" but im not too sure on their design. :ermm: Surely the woodstock would have been a better bike to copy. This has got to be 1 of the only 24" not to have a seat. Very strange cause they are always sitting down. Just looks like a shorter t-rex...

But i thought they were really soft and were mainly for natural! I even found the super tacky's wear rate on my minion a bit extreme! :ermm:

I agree, sapin spokes so easily if u hit them. I broke 2 in 2 days. But ive been ok ever since. I would suggest DT spokes though Steve

Ah man thats well bad  All the best to the Leeson Family. I hope they can cope because i know i would find it hard. I agree with Dave that at the very least at least he died doing something he loved. Tell Clive and Kris to take as long as they need. Steve p.s. Looking forward to the production of the BUMP frame. :ermm:

Loving the XTP one but the last two look utter wank! o and i though the geometry could be better because its just really a random shape and doesn't seem to have any strengths. Looks like it could snap after some abuse. Also looks quite dated. Does that answer it?
-
Dont look bad...lets see the stock! :( Geometry looks like it needs improving though

So...i've been looking on the search for flippin' ages and still have uncertancies and all those reviews are probably old now (sep, 2004 :( ) OK, so i want a 2.35 tyre, mainly for street...maybe a bit of natural, fairly light, pretty puncher resistant cause i get them all the time, and about £25 overall. Here the options i've come up with: What the best tyre for the front? READ THREAD FIRST Continental vertical pro IRC koja Maxis high roller single ply Maxxis Minion single ply Panaracer fire XC 1 of these Kendas Other options... Another thing: Don't suggest the hot-s (Its old and get punchures :P ) Cheers Steve :) p.s. If you really Don't know or have only used 1 tyre please Don't bother replying. I want to get some reviews in, cheers again lads.

HA, i must of just got it in time :P Ace vid. I cant believe how silent that guy is. Normally at least your mech would bounch around and make a noise :( has he done something to it or something cause i wanna do it. My riding is so loud and kinda makes me sound shit and heavy. Maybe i just am :)

I agree it was all taps and drops. They were all huge as well. Im quite amazed! That drop to the pontoon was HUGE!!! Did you break anything? :( Those places look great to ride though and if you know wayne no wonder you're so good! :) Steve

Second link worked fine with me!! :P Nice video there lads some really cool moves. Loved the backward wheelswap! Although where are the helmets? Come on lads...Standards! :(
-
Those pics have turned out great!! Loving the gaps there. Nice Set-ups you have there as well! The wheelie gaps my favourite :(
-
Pretty average vid. I must admit though that i think i liked the non trials related riding the best e.g. big jump gaps and some quality manuals and variations. Also found some moves very inspiring :( Nice change. :P
-
Again, lots of nice moves :( Espically liking the big drop gaps to rails and the longer lines! Keep it up. :P
-
Totally Agree!! Trials Legend (Y)
-
Yea, i dont know how you can...because you need to absorb the gap with your body but your body is being used to push out the bike so... Gaps really depend on the takeoff, a drop gap will probably have a different take off technique to a straight one! Just do what gets you the furthest and practice a lot.

I think you should stay a bit further back from the edge before you hop to the edge as a preload hop then go. Preload hops are essential for everything static in my opinion. Sidehops, gaps, rear wheels. Just do a big preload hop, kick really hard and get as far over the rear wheel as humanly possible on the landing. Everything else looks good  Second gap seems better because it looks like you use a bit more effort. Not much wrong with it though. oh yea and i land heavy too, dont worry about it. Flat gaps are near impossible to absorb!
-
Actually, no we dont! Although, instead of naming places after people we just abriviate the name of the place or just call it by a near by shop e.g. hut-com-cent, hut-industrial and lords. And also 'the ledge!' is another favourite. Maybe it will be named the Steve-o ledge or Adeve ledge after a matter of time... >_<
-
Diffinetly always take off from 1 wheel!! with also a tiny little preload hop seconds before. Landings: 1 wheel is safer!! Because then the back wheel just doesnt make it but if your trying a 2 wheeled landing the chances are, if your dont make it you kind of stack it. Which ends up you hurting yourself. >_< Its not very fun.... 2 wheeled landings are definetly better but are hard and take lots of confidence! In natural they pay off big time because of the ammount of grip your getting and the spread of pressure across the tyres, which results in a less chance of slipping!! Which is a good thing (Y) Ive tried both both can reach higher with 1 wheeled landings!

i say silver/white and red and black!! give the frame and undecoat of silver/white and build it up then mask up the frame in some stripes and spray away. The finished results will look great. Think onza t-pro 2000. The blue one with all the blue stripes. If your gonna spray it, go wild, try something different other than one colour. Just try and make sure you spray it properly with a good finish. Steve

totally agree with the phone box thing but loads of stuff seems to be named after them e.g. that super high wall in london's south bank skatepark. Its just because they seemed to be able to do all of these things before any of us even saw the lines. They were some of the early extreme comp/street riders rippin it up...now we can only follow... Is there any stuff named by other great trials riders? I know some spots are related to other people but are they named after them? Steve

Them wheelswaps are mahosive!!! How on earth do you do them that big, i find it hard enough holding the bike in that position! Whats the technique??? Or do you just have to be really tall... (Y) Also do you use both brakes because i only use one unless i am getting a double pinch :D cheers Steve
