  1. Yea, point taken i know it was a crap idea but i thought id just see how mine compared. And i dont have a disk! or a buckle so....didnt really think about it for long. Surprised how long some people span for though. 5 and a half mins is bloody loads and i assume people that say it spins forever could be bothered to time it. Cheers anyway.
  2. I wanted to know how my front hub compared to other peoples because in my eyes it has always super smooth for a onza hub anyway and i have had it for like 2 and a half years now. Right heres what you do: 1. Turn your bike upside down (resting on the handelbars) and get a stopwatch. 2. Now simultaneously spin the wheel as hard as you can and start the stopwatch. 3. Wait until the wheel has completely stopped moving, i mean COMPLETELY! and stop the the stop watch. 4. Repeat the test 3 times and find the average time. e.g. 2.15, 2.20, 2.25 where my times therefore my average time was 2mins and 20secs which i would say is pretty smooth. Like to see how it compares to chris kings etc Obviously the test is going to be quite biased with the strength of peoples tug of the wheel/how true the wheel is/weights of the wheel/tyre/if you have a disk or not/tyre pressure but it should give a rough idea of how smooth your hub is. By the way i ride stock so i don't know if this would affect the results. Cheers, Steve
  3. How old are you 11-16 How many bikes do you own (not just trial bikes) 1 Have you ever had a bike stolen? No Do you live an area where theft is an issue? No Do you own a bikelock, and do you think that it provides adequate protection? Yes and No
  4. What about the 5 year garentee with magura?
  5. I have screwed my front brake and only really need a front lever replacement because the master cylinder is dead. Although i have really been tempted to get a disk, espically ridding natural in wet weather. On the other hand i dont have any disk mounts on my super smooth onza hub (weird as it sounds, its so smooth and light ). Then again i could also get a lighter nicer front rim while I'm at it....hmmm . I dont know what to do...and have even less idea what Disk and Hub i would get if i decide to change. Although initially i was thinking American classic disk hub £39 and hope mono trial brake £127 = £168 Mybe a Avid from the juicy range or and Magura (MARTA...) Thanks Steve So...I wanna get a disk but i need some help deciding what parts! I heard some bad things about the Avid BB7 so am abit weary of getting one and i would prefer a hydraulic disk, maybe the juicy five which i heard is nice. And as for hub Im going to get the American Classic unless anyone who's better? I like it....cause its light Cheers Again.
  6. Back brake is solved now i have to try and fix my front one or buy a new lever i think. It might buy a disk although i need a new wheel then.... hmmm poll needed. Cheers guys
  7. You think thats it? Ill try tomoz....just to make sure. Only water anyways.
  8. At thrifwood comp, i fell off and fooked me back brake.... Today while looking at it, i re-bled it and everythin was hunky-dory. When i looked at my brake lever, something was different...i could work out why my lever was all slack. I took off the lever and i could see the master cylinder that moves when you pull the brake was crushed down the bottom. I yanked it out using some pliers and the piston thing inside looks dead, wont move. I think i need a new lever. Despite that, my main problem, i took apart my other lever (that was working fine) to see what was the difference was. I pulled out this seal thingy (master cylinder, i think) and loads of oil came out and when i put it back together my brake hardly moved and the lever went down to the bars. But the oil wasnt brake fluid! because i have water :$ . WHATS WRONG? Thanks for your time Steve
  9. You can find some here: http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/adeve Steve
  10. I'll be there! at about 11....with Ad Now everyone will want 2 come See you lads there... Steve
  11. Some quality in that trailer on there, some sweet riding as well with a really fast streaming speed. Cool tricks on old skool bikes, loved it. I also agree with waynio in that having concentrated quality riding is alot better although if you can make a long video of the same quality it would be even better. Steve
  12. HOW COOL WAS THAT!? Best skills ever...i love that original line finding ability and original tricks, the front flip was immense Nothing fell below that standard though, all awesome...the g-turn warp thing on that rock was sick, backwards manual and ace manual to drop to up ruled!!! Im scared about what is to come! Steve

    ...Mark is right...
  14. Cant be bothered to go far this weekend but a couple of us will be riding chelmsford on Saturday, so if anyone wants to come as well they are welcome. We will probably be meeting a shenfield station for about 10 and getting there for about 10:30 Need to get some footage for my our new vid so we may try some crazy stuff!! Steve
  15. The introduction of lots of 24" bikes seems to be where its all heading....i cant remember 1 guy on 1 a year ago! I think lots of BMX influence as well has just made people more streety and seeing quality lines and stylees just make us want to copy them. I love my long and low t-rex, although it is a tank, and still use it in as many ways as possible. Trying to get as much 24" streety love i can get out of it. It seems to of handled everything quite well so far, Steve
  16. Might come ad not really sure, never done 2 in a foughtnight before! Dyson is obsessed with Sam Wheeler and cant wait to go again so if i tell me we might end up going, although thrifwood would be a nice change now that its a little drier.... Doesn't seem many people going yet though so we will decide later, innit
  17. No at the end it cuts off halfway through a guy doing a backflip, looked well cool....but it cuts off Did he land on his face???
  18. Great vid but i think its the same 3 things that everyone doesnt seem to like The Font - a little boring although nice and clear maybe could be changed, i really dont think the end slide works at all though. The Long Black gaps - a bit too long, i know its hard to get the right and feel and fit the music but this needs fiddling with...you want to show as many different sides of trials as possible, which are your decision in the endThe Voice over - MAJOR PROBLEM - the voice really needs to be clear and powerful i feel, its ok by the sounds of it although the quality is terrible and i find it really hard to hear everythingThe Voice is key so if you can manage to get that right the video/advert should be Mint! Hope I've helped, good luck... Steve
  19. Well cool videos, I didnt relise matt ever had a t-mag, probably sold it by now though... I wanted to see the backflip!!!

  21. It would take alot more than a bit of practice to back wheel 60" let alone 50". This thread seems to have lost control (ECHO!)...since when has anyone tapped 70" i wanted to see a 60incher before anyone claims 70". I find 50 bloody huge and can tell you that who ever jumps 70" cant be human! VIDEO EVIDENCE NEEDED TO SOLVE THIS!!!!!!
  22. SICK SICK SICK DUDES! Just checking to see whos coming, all looks gd we are all ready for tomorrow! Should be good, im feeling pumped and bringing some Explosade! See you lot later and you Chai! May ride for about an hour on the way to sheel me thinks, i get bored of shell.... Steve
  23. Immense Video!!! It is kind of like a better repeat of Rough Cut on the old St.Blaize's because alot of the moves were the same but better and faster. They have so much control them two its ridiculous, the ending for example - Download Now! Steve
  24. Well i thought the video was really bad. The quality was terrible and conditions etc completely killed the video in my opinion Crap having half the video in you garden as well! Shame about the editing as well. I just didnt find it fun to watch at all. The only bit i actually liked was the ending with the wheel.... No more like that, Please!
