Too expensive(in terms of time and money) for me to rent or buy a premises, equip it for riding. If there was 10-12 trials riders like few years ago it would be a good idea. But now it's not. I like the solidness, look and reliability of hope brakes. But I don't understand how Saints may be so much better like everyone talking about it. It's just a hydraulic press, the most primitive hydraulic system. -

So what about cylinders? And why saints better than hope? -
Wow, how much spacers is that? I have 52mm now.

You just don't know Russians. You have not seen what I've seen. How they repairing stuff from bicycle to some 100 tons tippers, it's just amazing. And this is not necessary to have a specific education to be an engineer anyway. All you need to have is interest and lack of laziness. My friend began production of bike parts. He bought a CNC machine and learned how to work in CADs. And he's not an engineer, he has master of economics degree. -

Also he's a mechanic in few spheres so yes. You think you necessarily need a diploma to get good at something? What a folly. -
If I do this removal of rear wheel will be pain in the arse. some day... some day..

-25 mentioned for being pretty warm if calm. This is lowest point of rideable weather at winter. >do any hydro brakes? Of course. Maggie/echo bleeded with antifreeze. I tested it at -36 and no problem. -
What to choose? Now I'm brakeless and almost sold my BB7s. I'll be brakeless until it bores me. And if this happens I need brakes. Want to try hydro again and don't know what to choose. Requirements are approximately as follows: 1) I want the best brakes(+rotors/pads) for street-trials, don't care how much it'll cost me. Would buy only brand new. 2) It must survive at least -25 C cold. That's all. And one more question: what difference between 2 and 4 cylinders? Modulation?

Most of Russians (those who not stupid) are pretty good at engineering and mechanics, in trials: almost every single TGS rider, they make such a things to bikes you can't imagine. For example my friend on ZHI Z1. My god, this was a masterpiece of mad engineering. No one can ride this bike except of him, because bike was so abused - almost every ride some shit happens with'em. But in hands of my friend all was OK and bike became rideable again pretty fast. This is the most ghetto bike I've seen, every part of it has problems. -
Lol, I know, brakes was there just for extra weight. And I'm asking only because: 1) BMX bikes are pretty heavy but they can be much lighter 2) DJ riders are whining about "12kg and less is baaaaaaad"

It's done by Strogin, so I don't think you should worry about that, he knows what he's doing: -
Bunnyhop gaps.

What I'm saying is just a thoughts. Whole year I was with brakes and now turned to brakeless again, so I forgot many things. I like big drops, dropgaps and BH gaps, but I'm scared now to do it at same heights as with brakes. I want to stick with brakeless for a long time now, and don't want to lose ability to do all this stuff. What I feel now when I ride that my bike - that it's too light But actually it's not light, lol! It's heavy as hell.
-
Riding with brakes kinda different and safer at huge BH gaps and stuff, because if something goes wrong you just pull your brakes and all OK. But maybe I should just get used to -1kg. Just remembered some DJ riders whinings about too light bikes feels like shit in air and that DJ bike MUST be 12kg+.
-
After experiment I've done (riding brakeless with brakes on my bike just to get extra weight) I noticed that heavier bike rides better. Bike feels better, moves come out smother and it's more stable in air (BH gaps/BH dropgaps). My bike weight is 10640g without brakes and 11710g with brakes 1070g of difference and it feels really much. How much your brakeless bikes weights? And what do you think about it? Is it a good Idea to get extra weight?

Hmmm.. brakes and rain are the best combination when you're on discs.
-
It can snow in October/beginning of November + it's often raining now . So every rideable day is weight in gold.

I hope to film one more video in this season.

I'm brakeless again and scared to do many things, fear is mostly irrational, because I'm even afraid to do bunnyhops at same heights/lengths. I'm afraid to fall back when on back wheel (for example 1.5m+ drops, when you need to land rear wheel first) or when I'm trying to do pedal-kicks/sidehops to rear. The funny thing - I've done all this stuff earlier on TGS and street-trials bikes. I know that I must just get used to it, but I need to do it quick. Any advice how to beat it quickly(1-2 rides)? And how right I'm saying this fear is irrational?
