Who needs instant engagement? I ride Hope with 7.5 degrees and feel absolutely no difference between 7.5 and 2.9 on my tryal k-libre 120.9 (shitty freeweheel that lasts without skipping only 1 hour).

It has cons of both types of brakes.

if you have not so good skills at all? Or you forced to get really good with brakes at first? I'm asking because season comes to an end and I can't decide without advice should I push myself harder in riding with brakes or stay brakeless and trying to progress without brakes. I can't do hook-ups and pretty bad at up-to-front's.

Contamination of what kind? Nothing oily never ever was close to my brakes because I know how fatal it is for rotor and pads.

Don't know what's wrong with my BB7. I've set it up ideally by the manual. My setup is BB7 with standard pads + echo TR 180 rotors + FR5 levers + odyssey linear cables. And brake works like SНIT! It slips at up-to-fronts and gaps to rear plus there are almost no bite. I don't know WТF is wrong with this brakes. Echo rotors are so ugly or what?

I do hate bars turned forward. Even on pogosticks I prefer them to be vertical/a little bit back.

Are shite of good? Bonz 12T for example? I don't like the idea of Al in my drivetrain but I it's pretty difficult to find wide 12T sprocket. Will it be OK and stand for a long time?

V2 has the same piston diameter(25mm). About saints - I want to try it, but as long as shimano are a retarded company (why to end production of such an awesome and successful product?) I don't really see any capability to try them (I'm too lazy to order levers+calipers separately and building it up). I don't get one thing: why no one uses 4-cylinder hopes in street-trials? M4/E4 are pretty light V4 are crazy powerful and all this with better modulation than 2-cylinder ones.

What difference between V2 and trialzones? What special in trialzones at all? It seems that it's just X2 with larger piston and race lever? And about saints M810, they are not made anymore?

I think I'll try some 4-cylinders hopes (V4/M4/E4) with 203mm rotors for a start. Then maybe buy a saints and compare Saints vs Hope vs BB7.

It's on the grass so it has nothing common with drop on concrete/asphalt. But this is awesome anyway.

It seems that saints have poor quality and problems with spares + reliability is not so good as Hopes.

It seems that I have no choice and must buy Hope. But CYLINDERS, anyone knows something about'em? WHY there are 4 and 2 cylinders brakes?
