Ah cooljust one problem, no cd (Y)

Just got a suitable creative sound card and fitted it, does it have to be in a ny particualr slot? I have no sound so am thinking i have put it in the wrong slot or need to install drivers etc?

You can get the black mumba frame or frame kits off the guy in new members jacky 2k or summit. for £160

If people would of read the post he has £80 to spend so kings are out of the question, the dmr sounds like the best option and he wouldnt need new crank arms . Even if he was running ffw then he could get a screw on bash/ring which are like £20 for supercycles

Yeah i know about turning it fully off and not touching the sensitive part of the card but cheers anyway :closedeyes: . Also are there any cards that you would reccomend for quality and any that i should stay away from? Or is it just a case of getting the card with enough ports?

Where would i get the drivers from and would it be much harder than installing a network card?

Forgot to say i took the rear lead out just to test then all the speakers were working but 2 very quietly as a pose to two silent. i did have both leads in before im not that stupid lol. I do have 3 ports on my mother board? one green one pink and one blue the green works but i put the black lead into the blue port as it it looks like a speaker one and the pink one is for microphones , so kinda trial and error. Ill take some pictures of the back of my base unit if that helps. Have you downloaded the drivers for your graphics card? thats what i had to do on mine anyways . . .

Just took out the rear lead wwhich is conncted to the front and now the quality is better and all speakers are on :- confused but it works so ill leave it i think

I think the 5.1s are the min compact speakers more for dvd etc, but also i didnt know whether to select quadraphonic or surround as there were 4 shown on quad and 4 on surround and a sub i think, and i have a sub so i tried both but still not a sausage :-

Please anyone else this is really bugging me now . Iv got this far and changed the setting to quadraphonic, tried turning my speakers off and restarting and still no luck :- Cant get the print screen up for some reason but it showed loads of different speaker types i could use e.g. surround sound 5.1 etc

Cheers for the help danny, iv tried switching it to quarophonic but still sure its not working also tried it on the normal surround sound and still only two on. NVIDIA N force sound card i believe. And its a fairly new decent pc so i should expect they would be compatible. But how do i check?

Recently purchased these from ebay And i can only get two of the speakers working at one time and not all 4 , the front are on a lead with a green connector and the rear on a black however i obnly have a green at the back of my pc and no black. Is there anyway around this?

My sound is still nackered does anyone know how to regain its full potention. Even on loudest i can just hear it, nothing todo with my speakers though :-

This got forwarded through me i think, it has nothing to do with me and i didnt even realise, i have no sound and i couldnt right click. And now im getting abuse for something i havent done from people. Its not my fault sad twats try to make peoples pcs f**ked for fun, but theyve done it to me. (Y)

Hey i did one and chain drilled it then cut from hole to hole, then took a huge file to the corners and got the curves on it poifect, jenna jameson style. I did a 2 bolt one last year and a 4 bolt this year, and anaylsis on it with steves help on post lol (Y) p.s anyone know any good spyware blockers and pop up blockers etc?
