probably not going to help but i can relate to what you're saying. in essence if a bird came onto you ( no immature innuendos please) you pretty much would go for it regardless of been in a relationship or not right? i think it would be pretty much the same with girls, so just always leave on a good note so the chances of anything like that happening are low.
