Righty, I thought I may aswell learn a trick I should've learned decades ago, but never got around to it. The clips you see were my actual first and second attempts. The technique is to extend your legs but I find that that doesn't actually bring the nose back up? Dropping the nose is easy I get the feeling the videos not going to work trim.7BB53C06-7FEC-4312-A409-8F9F9EEC2697.MOV

Righty, well I'll see you at tartydays, preferably I'd pitch my tent far away from you lot so I can sleep without the sounds if what seems to be suffocating reaching my ears
-
if it was me it would've been: "beer in mind"

Haha just come and find me, it's bright red and there's a twit riding it, shouldn't be too hard...
-
Well, I guess my new NSbikesco bike might come and have a laugh... Be aware all unattended trials bikes will be trialled upon
-
I can't go to tartydays as I no longer have a trials bike which means unless someone wants to swap a trials bike for my trek (pictures below, hope brake, FSA bars, mavic rear rim, needs new forks seals) I cannot go which is a damn shame. Which also means I have one rider ticket which unless I can't find a trials bike to use/ swap/ borrow I don't need.

Malvern? -
I'm forever alone anyone ride in Warwick?

I learned pedal kicks from that book way back when. Very handy.

Inspired fourplays are very good bikes, personally I'd choose tht over an element if you can afford one. Make sure he wears a helmet! If you're learning especially, but you should always wear one. Are you also considering a mod? Depends on what your son wants but I think learning on a mod is easier, however everyone's different. Go to trashzen.com for some good learning tips and tutorial vids!

I can't put money your way either so so give me a older one maybe thanks, as trialsquirt just found out I can't afford a 13' fourplay team.

Onza limey 320

Yo guys. I've been wondering lately, is my mod the right size for me? At 5"11 the bike feels too small. Pondering has been done, face has been mashed and the revelation came to me, in a what id like to call a dream but was actually just: "hey I like fourplays" and after paying £1200 for my mod not long ago I'd like a dual disc fourplay. This is probably the wrong place to say this but if you are the complete opposite of me, give me a pm. -jam

I must admit after I read it I facepalmed a lot. Seeing as all my bikes have hydros you've thought I'd've known! -

And I imagine that you're talking without knowing. Whoever they were, they gave me some advice and it worked, my brakes all sorted and I would t buy off them anyway so let's leave it out eh? Wouldn't * -
Freewheel display team saving my weekend

Theoretically yes, but I'm only applying it to the part that touches the piston, and once in the caliper, if it does move anywhere it'll be down. Bit it's quite sticky so it probably won't. Just have to be careful with your hands when holding the pad -

Haha tried copper grease? Best thing I did this weekend -
Alas, the pain that is... The front brake. After many months of creaking and cracking from somewhere on my front end, I was at my wits end. My gut told me it was the brake, but there was no evidence if that. Every trick I knew was thrust upony brakes, forks, hubs, but to no avail. Hair was being torn out of my head as I racked my brains and the web for a solution. No one had this problem in the way I did, sure, theirs creaked and cracked, but not in the was mine did. Fearing the end was near, I stumbled across this: "put some copper grease on the pads, they sometimes crack when they lock" or something along those lines. Could it be? Rushing to my bike and removing the caliper hastily, I pulled my pads to my unwavering eyes and saw- the backing a were bare metal. Swearing at myself for not recalling this simple, known fact, I applied copper grease and mounted the caliper. I went outside. I got on the bike. I did an endo. No sound from the front end. In my jubilation I then proceeded to do multiple up to fronts and gaps with more energy than ever, feeling the joy of silence, which of course ended up in some new scars for my legs. But my weekend was one if the best I've had. Thumbs up!

Hey guys! Just thought I'd show my limey now that I've got the rear brake properly sorted out...unfortunately I gave into temptation and grinded my rim with a light grind the rim tape was white, but it turns out that someone had put electrical tape over black rim tape to make it that colour... -.- responses welcome
-
Thanks! But why get rid of the brake booster?
-
Thanks! I thought the yellow heatsinks were the best, I've been told about them before. The rim is indeed a tryall "h" well that's what the wheel is, the rim is just tryall. On average, how long does a grinded rim last before the constant regrinding means you need a new rim?

Sup guys! Just a few questions as I'm new to the world of magura- I'm used to dual discs. Here's what I know: how to adjust, bite adjustment and general arrangement. A few questions though- it's not in the pictures, but I've angled the brake so instead of the pad running in the centre of the rim wall, it runs against all of it, so it's at a slight downwards angle. Is this a good idea, I want the paint to wear down evenly but still get the best bite- no grinding though. Question 2- what pads are best? Question 3- if I did grind the rim, how long would it and the pads last? Question 4- the frame (limey 320) has a booster built in and four bolt mounts. Is this enough on its own? Obviously I still want my brake booster but itd be good to know that my brake would feel the same without it. And finally- since there's still paint on it doesn't howl. How loud is it when it does? It may seem wierd but I want it as loud as possible- without grinding of course.

Decently actually, they hold rather nicely. Might switch to a 2014 hs33 on the rear as the disc rotor bolts keep coming undone, no matter how much force I use- but I'm gonna try some different bolts first
