my mate rik duckworth from work rides a bit of trials short bike, super smooth style and not a tap, sidehop or hook in sight, he even uses his bashring, yes bashring, remember those? very different riding to what is the trend these days some of these clips were in a couple of my vids but he's editted this together (first attempt at it) and its a nice vid. let me know what u think please and ill pass messages on to him (yes he does wear a helmet now after i convinced him to - silly boy) oh and turn the volume up for the last clip, makes me chuckle enjoy Test DVD file is the one u want
-
we got one, well we got 5 rocks and 3 logs haha that was a start and then the skater boys said they wanted ramps etc so there went our £25k, shame
-
i think the fact his bike is day-glo makes it look even bigger!

rugby players are proper "gentlemen" the ref is called sir/mr (insert name here) and u DO NOT QUESTION his decisions. the ref mic available on the bbc is great to follow the game, makes it easier for new comers to the sport to understand whats going on. why then is this not used in football, honest opinion because footballers are foul mouth individuals whose language would not be broadcastable before 9:30 pm. that is a crying shame prime example wales v scotland 20 mins into a brutal match and a scottish player kicked out at a welsh players head following a late tackle. in the following refs decision (all audiable on bbc) the ref said "following the rules of the game, this player kicked out and i have to send him off". in such a tight game the scottish player, rather than get in the face of the ref replied "im sorry sir i didnt mean to kick his head" then to his welsh opponent said im sorry and shook his hand the left the pitch. at no time did any other play run up to the ref and start pushing/shouting/gesturing at him. i cant think of a time this happens in modern day football. before anyone says "yeah but rugby player have fights", yes they do proper fights, that are good to watch ( ) but at the end of the game they shake hand and have a beer at the bar, no agression for the next time the meet on the pitch

hahaha, rugby at school in yr 8, my mate went into a tackle we all saw his arm snap ( ), coach bandaged it up and made him play on for next 50 mins! hardcore

the atmosphere at a rugby match is so much better, u aren't segregated for fear of violence for starters
-
two decisions dont make a championship though have to say england deserve to finish 4th this year their rugby skills at times were elementary at best. the team selection was suspect too. mike tindall at inside centre is not the best of choices he is not skillful enough to play that role, would be better at outside centre with abbott at 12. and will someone please please teach thompson to throw in at line outs. some serious changes need making before the world cup next year, tait for the centres and varndell on the wing would be a good start some of the younger players in the premiership etc i played against a few years back when i played for school and county, needless to say they were tough games, but its goin to be weird if any of them turn out at the world cup! and im in agreement that wales were robbed, so unlucky their best performance of the champs, would have been nice to see and italy win too they deserved more than a point this season

got the hyland vid i'll try get it uploaded to tv.isg thingy asap, that is a quality vid, i'll post link in here when done wont be a moment..... rightio i found a few hyland vids at addingham and shipley july03 (losing my favourite game) may03 encounters linky some good stuff, in all of them, some lines same as in walkers new vid
-
do you think u could try find something bigger to ride?? that first line at shipley is the most impressive in the vid for me, yes there are bigger moves etc but to try that, IN THE WET, shows really skill, and balls like melons. anyone who knows shipley glen will know what i mean!! good vid, the only thing i'd have liked to see more of is sections, but thats me. awesome riding nice one!
-
ok riding not up to the standard as above but this vid of me and my mates has shipley and addingham in it jan06 thats the file u want, most of the other vids on there have clips from the two locations but jan06 is filmed mostly there over two rather cold days two months ago hope this is ok
-
best vid in a long while! so much skill, and variety of moves kept me watching for the whole time. wont get bored of this one, makes a change to the TGS revolution. bike does look rather nice too. on the downside it keeps crashing my comp but still not goin to stop watching let alone delete it. awesome - oh and ur other little backyard kinda vid was rather cheeky too!! MORE PLEASE i've been needing a vid like this to restore my faith in street riding merci!
-
sorry to jump in on the thread but been thinking of a new front tyre to replace a comp24 because on rocks it slips, folds, rolls and generally misbehaves when i dont want it to i.e. all the sodding time thinking along the lines of the hansventure are you guys using them rear or f/r? other than that i think i'd be going for 2.3 (ish) high roller
-
loved the interact video, made me wanna go ride there next time im home! blackpool looks fun but too much of an effort for me,im lazy think ill stick to addingham good stuff guys, drop me a line if u fancy a ride in sheffield and i'll show u the sites

the scary thing is that no where in the article does it say the goat was FEMALE! he could have at least said the goat "backed onto him" although how he would explain being in the field with his trousers round his ankles and an erection would be quite difficult
-
hell yes! went to a leeds ride last year and found myself following everyone else around to walls where there was little else on but a big tap/sidehop on a certain section near the uni i was just watching in awe as boon turned on the style, 360 tyre taps to name one particular move, and these impressed me more than any big side hop i saw that day. love watching all the old TK, MTT, nailsea, trialsrider etc etc vids they make we wanna go ride. today the long low silver brigade bring little inspiration to me, maybe because im stuck on a short bike. i doubt it, there is no variety, drop gaps are impressive but to me big drop gaps are done today with less style and are just pure ballsy moves. recent vids ive kept include Dave marshalls 1st tartybikes vid All stan shaws natural vids tim steadmans vids (sloppy street eaters, bangor, and january 05) richard III (stephen morris et al) zoo vid 26 roadtrip vid 2005 couple of coust vids 26twenty vids (apart and painted) oh and the NC vid with danny macaskill yet i have ALL TK vids still. i prefer riding natural to street any day, its more difficult yet so much more rewarding at the end of the ride, yet how many riders these days go ride rocks? its worth a try and will improve ur street technique if nothing else
-
tartybikes t shirts on every god damn organised ride people who only ride street ditto the pete wright comment!! thinking its ok to say "i just did a sex wee" about a bike What brake (spelt break) pads should i use topics people trying to be mods and just being tits mods trying to stop arguements but end up creating more
-
sorry to burst your bubble but no your not the only one sold a few at my shop in burnley, dunno who the lads are though, never see em out riding
-
thats some silly balance right there good old school vid with insane riding!!
