Was a good day all round! REALLY nackering though! Im looking forward to see how the footage I shot on Super 8 came out! Just amazing. Si, I loved how you went from showing me the intro, to that amazing piece of creativity. I loved how you got the riding of hop idol to go with the music in the way that the emotions and excitement build up was displayed beautifully. Editing was spot on and I see what you mean about your computer being a bit dodgy, flickering with John's riding nearer the end, or was that editing :"> Non the less, awesome work lad! Yea, I over-reacted a bit there. I wasn't as pissed as you made out (how many times did you use 'pissed off' haha :angry: ) - I think it was just coming down from a high from the weekend and tiredness - I've gotta grow up, bloody slap me somebody.. but please, not too hard! :) Im shocked about that, cant believe the Sony would produce images such as those in the video! Seeing as the model you are using is more expensive than the VX2100! - ...I think!? But yes, indeed, nice one for getting it up for everybody to see, and yea it will be hard to edit... moves of the weekend were kinda repetitive and if people have seen half of them already then.. meh, we'll see what happens! Not a bad video at all. The first DJ Shadow track is overused a lot on the web, but went well with the footage. I too had problems with the sound - at one point I really did think it was gonna feck my speakers - I think the problem is that the sound from (if you're using Premiere) the Video 1 track conflicts with the music you've placed in say Audio 2 or 3 - depending if you've added a new audio track to the timeline - something to do with Gain I believe. Ive not experienced it myself before so I couldn't tell you how to fix it. Also, lots of the clips needed brightening up - I do this by increasing the brightness to 45 and contrast to 40. You'll know what I mean once you've dragged the Brightness and Contrast plugin onto the clips. Another thing, I am a little dissapointed... naa, pissed off actually. I spend all weekend (yeap, all 3 days) at the Bike Show, got some mint footage of everybody riding, especially the Saturday, then somebody goes and releases it, almost making my trek to Coventry completely worthless. Editing therefore for me is going to be very difficult now, but we'll see how it goes... but fair play I guess for getting it all together in such short time... make sure you send an email to Alison Austin at Radiator PR, cos she wants to see everything that resulted from the Press Passes being given out. As usual, all 3 days, including two nights of drunk madness! I'll be the one wearing a 't w e n t y t w o' T or Hoodie - or some other form of clothing - mud and blood most likely - with a press pass round my neck whilst trying to operate two DV cameras as well as a digi SLR. I'll be walkin' around with the Trials-Shack and West Worthing massive, as well as Andy P, John Shrewsbury (watch out for his lush new white sticker job on his Leeson 24"), Charlotte P and Ross from Waterlooville. Ahh you run Linux... not that I know anything about it but I guess you just have to be carefull about the market you're making vids for. Majority are windows users im sure, clearly some mac. I dunno, mpg has always seemed to satisfy people - its that annoying divx logo in the bottom right corner too haha! I dunno, whatever is easiest for you, but cannot always be the easiest for the person watching. Jonny.

Not a bad video - but it went all tits up 3/4 of the way through! Why cant people just make mpg, wmv or .mov files of stuff they edit? Wicked riding from what I saw before it went wrong. Jonny.

Was a pretty cool day really! Apart from this afternoon I spotted a rather nasty dent on my boot - properly been smacked... I HATE Newport, and its chavs! I think 2005 will be the last JIBJAM I go to... unless they change venue. Got some awesome footage though! Jonny.

I'll certainly be getting one of these new Team frames! Lushest model they've bought out ever I think! Its a large bandwaggon everybody is jumping on, but with production costs probably sky-high for seriously customised parts, its no wonder Echo have done wat Koxx have with the head tube. Bad luck on the injury Rowan! Hope you get better sooner than 7 weeks! As far as the video goes, didn't think too much of it, too much fading in and out of clips and things, didn't really get an image in my head to what to expect - although footage was no doubt limited to the unforeseen injury.
