OK, im getting real busy with Uni... so we're probably looking at a couple of weeks for the DVDs. My website isnt working and I think tv.isg.si may have deleted the actual video.. so I guess the DVD will be something to look forward to? So.. thanks and sorry at the same time! On a better note.. anybody seen those new MacBook Pro's? J.
-
It wont have chapters.. just an interface that says 'Play TM2' - then if u want to fast forward.. just hit the fast forward button. I dont have the skills yet to make DVDs proper like. Plus.. its like 2 quid or less.. not worked it out yet.. what do you expect Thanks for the comments guys.. Bucky, that gap was mental pffff J.

I thought both videos were pretty good. The one shot on the beach... kinda cheesy the way they used film effects.. where (I think ) they didnt use a film camera (like when I use Super 8).. I might be wrong.. I just think more is possible video wise where Ryan is concerned.. the guy has masses of skill - document it! J.

Yeah fair enough. Ive got 30 DVD-R's coming this week sometime but im super busy with uni (shooting an 8min short film - well... narrative drama, it isnt being shot on film ).. so ill try and get it all sorted asap... the titles go off the screen a bit but all the action is displayed perfectly. How many people would actually like it on DVD? Just to get a idea Jonny.

Unfortunately Nick isnt a full member yet, so he cant post on here... I think!? From what he was saying today, the DVD is almost there. Few more issues with music... and hes working on the layout of the menus and other such things. Not too long. Soo much stuff goes into a production such as this, as im sure you'll understand J.

Course it makes a difference. If you are profiting from the illigal sharing of the music.. nuff said. Therefore its only gonna be the cost of the DVD-R (20p or so) and the p+p. They'll be available soonish, got a super busy week at uni so ill have to sort it out after that. I'll setup a paypal thingy so people can just click 'pay' and ill send u the DVD. Ive sorted all the footage (de-interlace) so it looks wicked on the TV - ive done a test DVD. Thanks for the great comments Jonny.

Dual Layer discs cost quite a bit atm.. (both vids are over 1 hour long - takes a lot of space up) and for something thats not for profit.. it seemed only sensible to put TM2 on, on its own. TM1 wasnt great though was it haha! Link might be down, but then the whole site might be, and yes, it would be my fault!! Hence the DVD's, save the guys at tv.isg.si more hassle! I owe a lot to them!! Jonny.

Worry not, ive got loads of DVD-R's on their way to my place, im making DVD copies of TM2. They will hopfully be no more than 2 quid, if that! Just the price of the disc itself and postage. No profit intended, cos ive got NO copyright for any of the songs ive used!! msn@trialmedia.co.uk - add me if you wish Stay tuned! Jonny.

Please Send Me Your Clips (for Tf Video) Watch And Enjoy!
Jonny Jones replied to bikerdude2006fr's topic in Videos
Most people are probably in the same boat as you, they too like editing. How about filming some stuff yourself, that way you can get your own individual style of filming and indeed editing, thats what im trying to do Hope you get some footage sorted! Jonny. -
Meeting around 10.30 at Reading station. Anybody welcome. Goddard and Wheeler and myself so far. Jonny.

Im not sure if its just my monitor.. but was 90% of that video just really really dark.. and you couldn't see what was going on!? Good effort on putting it together though dude! Much appreciated! Jonny.

Who's The Sexiest Trials Rider
Jonny Jones replied to MikeCottTrials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
DAMN GIRL COME SIT ON MY FACE!!! And Suss of course, looovely! Girl in the pink trousers and white top is a hunny too! But damn, id love to know where else she has pearcings(sp) J. -
Try downloading it again, there is street from Matt Staples towards the end. The super8 stuff was only the flickery stuff you see. For some parts I used my mates Canon XM2 3CCD camera - 95% of the bike show stuff was filmed on it.. most of the DJ Portsmouth ride and a few other bits in London I think too. Most of it, however, was shot on my trusty 5 year-old Sony TRV18E single CCD camera. Has done me pround all these years.. but for my 21st bday, I got a new HDV camera. Its still single chip, but not a CCD. It uses a CMOS chip, these chips are used in the 6 grand + digital SLR cameras that you would see somebody like Steve Behr(sp) using. Truely stunning quality. I used the new camera for all of Feeney's section, second bit of Timbo's section and some clips in Wheeler's section (that also had XM2 clips in).. think thats it! God, sorry for such a geeky essay haha! Im working on getting the DVD's sorted, never made one before.. shocking innit! Thanks for all the incredibly positive comments, so so chuffed! Jonny.

Wicked vid.. classic Shins:) I laughed cos it suddenly ended haha! Though it was funny lol. J.
-
Ahh wicked idea! Gonna be interesting if some people do the same town, none the less, cant wait to see all the videos J.
-
Yeah Ive got a Kodak Instimatic(sp) Super 8 Movie Projector. 15 quid from ebay.. camera was 5 quid lol! Gotta start somewhere! Maybe upgrade my kit.. see how the finances go this year. You can spend over 100 quid on a decent Super 8 camera, but its well worth the money. J.
-
Thanks By the way, you're fit. Sorry Super 8 stuff, yeah, I projected it onto my bedroom wall and filmed it with my DV camera. Im gonna get it properly transferred to DV tape next time.. so it will look less soft. Cant thank you all enough for the comments, so chuffed you people enjoyed it!! As for topping that.. im sure a certain Nick of the Goddard variety has some plans haha! Come on Nick, bring it on baby boy, westwood style aiight. ... or whatever haha! Jonny.

So pleased everybody is still liking it! Even finding it inspiring is just overwhelming(sp)! Fred, it was Super 8mm, not 16mm For those of you who dont understand that, basically for the flickery bits you see/saw.. I used film instead of digital MiniDV tapes - just gives more texture and a kinda of 'memory' feel to the footage. I used 6 reels and they were 16.50 each.. so not cheap.. purely experimental, never used it before, came out ok. If QuickTime encounters a problem.. you dont need to download it again. Simply open QT again and scroll along to where you left off. It did it to me last night... Cant think why its doing it.. maybe the bitrate that the H264 codec uses is kinda high perhaps!? Or like before maybe a RAM issue?! Who knows! Just restart QT and all is good Many thanks for the comments, really means a lot! Right... lets try making these DVD's J.

He didnt fancy killing himself, so Manning didn't do the drop in the end.. the boy gets a little mental sometimes lol! J.

Wicked mate!! Love it!! Every new design of yours is original, minted! I'll be having one of those T's! J.
-
Shitting hell! Thats pure 4130 Publishing material!!! The light, the fact its B+W.. the rider posture... magic! J.
-
Thanks for the comments, really glad you all like it! There was lots of 24" riding.. cos I had loads of 24" riding footage.. and it had to be used hehe! DVD thing isnt a problem... you all overlooked the fact ive got all the raw sections still in uncompressed format - so i can still make a DVD from the ground up! If I have time.. I shall attempt a DVD release.. not sure about the whole music copyright thing, but as Chris Ratcliff mentioned to me, it didnt stop Ben Slinger Many thanks again! Not sure whats happening with TM, I dont really produce enough vids to keep a site like it going... although I know of a movement that is going to happen soon.. its under wraps so im saying nothing Cheers! Jonny.
