Never been to Oxford... and I am DEF going there now. Looks like everybody was having a great time which is what it's all about! However, wear a Helmet to those who weren't/havn't got one, don't tempt feat. I wont talk about the frame rate and some of the sound cos everybody will know what Im gonna say... im just a prefectionist.. kinda! J.

Wicked riding! Wish I could ride rocks like that! All I recon is that some clips could have been shortened - would have flowed a bit more and maybe the music wouldn't have run out. But generally, all good J.

Unfortunately, obviously, I would mind. Im putting a shit load of effort into this - like Nick did - and I would hate for it to be wasted in this context. Wont be available on VHS. Thanks for all the comments people! Cant believe how many people have awesome TVs! HD really has kicked in, all good! J.

Twil be in widescreen I think! DVD players automatically add the two black 'letterbox' blocks above and below footage for those people who have 4:3 TV sets, and everything still looks great! I'll still experiment before releasing the DVD but its defo gonna be full widescreen me thinks! J.
-
Ive already started shooting, in HDV so its widescreen. But its most likely gonna be 16:9 letterboxed so that it looks good on both kinds of TV - plus widescreen TVs will be able to stretch the picture to full widescreen. Nice one people! J.

Haha ooo look at you!! Ta for the replies, keep on coming if you wanna.. J.

Just been reading an interesting thread on a pro video forum and I been having technical thoughts/ideas about Our Summer. Just wondering how many of you have widescreen tv's, and how many of you have standard 4:3 (square - apposed to widescreen rectangular) TV's ? Many thanks! Jonny.

Could you possibly, by any chance, be biggin' up MJ Cycles dot com? Lol! Awesome video!! Sick riding, good tune as well!! Who was the fitty at the start? One word though, deinterlace Nice 1! J.

No worries, it did work for sure its just I was confused by other comments. Good work non the less. Thanks for the music list, thought it was Queens of the Stone Age (After writing Radiohead haha). J.
-
Loads Neil mate, just not that specific track - thats pretty much the only track i dislike. Sorry :$ J.
-
Always de-interlace for web stuff, most monitors are progressive (LCD, TFT etc) and not interlace - a video is way more crisp deinterlaced etc, I think people understand by now hehe, hence HDTV is broadcasted at 720p i believe (720 horizontal progressive lines of resolution). Awesome video. Quality riding, quality footage, good music! Nice 1!! J.

In my complete honest opinion, I didnt like it... sorry to everybody who did! Ive disliked that music track since they started playing it on Radio 1 and there was just too many photos and too much zooming into them. Good trip down memory lane for you guys for sure, I just didnt really feel it... more of a montage for me really. Good effort making it though. A question though... on the 26 Twenty 02 video, what was the track that starts 'All death metal, all the time' - cool track, sounds like Radiohead kinda? J.

Proper bo! One thing Rob, can i get a rewind cos I need to make trax to Cornwall like First Great Western? Thanks man! Hahaha! Love the Re-Wire stuff! Minta! J.

Everybody has said most of what I was feeling. Im not the best designer/coder on the planet, but I think I could have done a bit better. I really love Adam Bessell's site (the one with grass and wet paint etc - i think?) thats something to look at, also, http://www.choosebrilliant.com is a good site, AND http://www.coolhomepages.com - check that site 110% inspiration! Best of luck sorting it, its the company's identity and first port-of-call (sp) so its probably best if it looks half decent Doesn't simply mean 'space' - emplying Simon is kinda empty? He's always complaining about it so thats prob why its there Love you Si J.

Thanks man, no idea who told them/how it got in there, but im stoked, but at the same time feeling guilty cos GET1 was meant to be reviewed in there and it hasn't had a review yet and ive been mentioned already! J.

My screen isn't square But no worries, ill leave it at that, awesome day overall, bring on next year! J.

16:9 works incredibly well especially if the camera is native 16:9 and not just 4:3 cropped like many cameras do. My opinion, mock if you wish , ...Our Summer is being shot in HDV, so its native widescreen (16:9), therefore the finished DVD will look (visually on the TV) similar to, for example, Cassette, No Front Teeth, Earthed 3 etc... E3 was actually shot in HDV (in case nobody knew) Cool little clips there, can't believe Carl is still dropping to front, he's not quite grasped the concept of rear wheel to floor entry yet haha! Nice 1! Jonny.

See the links on the right of the screen? Use those to get to the different pages Added your shop to the links page btw. J.

Got a new host now... one that wont have downtime left right and center! So I thought I'd start fresh I guess... I quite like the background image. TrialMedia Jonny.

I agree with everything that Stephen has said the start of this thread. Although I thought the montage at the start of Ashton's bit was pretty cool. There was some riding in the extras that I was very confused as to why it wasn't used for the main video... made for a great extras section!! Inspired me for sure, went out in Woking last night and I did some stuff I wouldn't normally do! Jonny.
