Kinda not gonna happen. Compression wise YouTube sucks ass. Its strange, google video and MySpace video is way clearer, I think its cos Y.T is maybe larger/more popular and so more compression = smaller file sizes = less bandwidth = less overheads for the powers that be at YouTube. At the end of the day dude, like people have said, its quicker and easier for people to look at videos - Ali C's Scrapbook videos of late, for example. Jonny.
