Calling All Trials Forum Petrol Heads!
Jonny Jones replied to SiTrials's topic in Member Organised Rides
Sounds like fun but its dangerously close to my uni work deadline for my final year assessment, maybe next time though for sure!! Good lad for getting it all organised though Si! JJ. -
Hey! Yesterday in Bristol I came off my bike and badly sprained (I hope, at least thats what the doc said) my right ankle. I just want to say thanks so much to everybody who helped me! Mr Singleton who phoned the ambulance, John and Chris for helping keep my bike and bag etc safe, and also Porter for his wit in keeping people smiling, even though I wasn't haha! So happy to have you all as mates, thanks so much!!! Only downside now is that im out for a week, on crutches - could have been a lot worse though!! Cheers again people!! Jonny.

I'm On Telly............again With Jonny Jones & Kyle Stoneham
Jonny Jones replied to LEON's topic in Trials Chat
Yeah was a wicked afternoon actually, learnt quite a bit just from chatting to Anita, the journalist. Looking forward to it and indeed more coverage of Trials on the Beeb!! Jonny. -
Myself and Leon are doing Basildon! We're meeting just before 3pm before helping the same reporter that did Leon's interview last week on a slightly different project of her's. Obviously its just me and Leon at the moment, so if anybody is around, im meeting Leon at the West Gate Car Park just before 3pm, so if you wanna be on tv, come on down! She's asking us questions on why people our age don't vote. Jonny.

More impressive than Akrigg? Im thinking so! Seriously ill! Whats new JJ.
-
Funny as hell, although knowing me if he had knocked me off a post I would have probably thrown my bike at him, what a c*unt! Loved how his boyfriend just stood there and did nothing! Nice gap to front lol! JJ.
-
AWESOME!!!!!!!! Im so chuffed about all of this! Like everybody has been saying its great for the sport! The woman from the BBC rang me up yesterday to ask permission to use the Our Summer footage but I had no idea it was going out on air the same day! As Zane Lowe would say AWESOME!... AWESOME! Leon is a leg-end! Only thing is im sitting here down in Penzance, Cornwall, typing this and the PC im on doesn't have sound haha, so I'll have to wait until Saturday evening to hear Leon talkin'! I recon with these two shows under the trials community's belt (Tunni, Leon) we will probably be seeing way more of our sport on the box! You never know, they may end up sending camera crews to the Nationals! I know where im sending my CV hahaha! Here's hoping! Jonny.

Haha quality mate!! Its amazing how you can keep the same streety style on a longlowandsilver! Audiences rock as well, much love matey! THANKS! Jonny.
-
Hi Sue, I'll be there! I'll try get SAMWELL and Phil Nobes to come as well. Looking forward to it! Jonny.
-
Ahh dude what was ill! At the moment I think you're the 20" rider I have most respect for, soooo much style and flow! Sick tricks! JJ.
-
Seconded. Allistair Colling sountrack, seen seen. J.
-
Sad isnt it... but I guess thats what the top riders have to go through... still weird. Yeah worrying about those freewheels, maybe they should just use something British... like a Hope (thinking about getting one myself). Like Ash said, ace he tried to carry on! Jonny.
-
I want mine back Looking good dude, nice purchase!! JJ.
-
Basically all the riders that have been mentioned, in some kind of narrative plot. Or riding where its structured so damn well that there doesn't need to be a music soundtrack - Ive been thinking about this for a month or so.. would be bloody hard! You've got the kit and im sure ur getting your monthly wage from normal business so if not many riders buy it you wont be loosing too much money. Just coming from experience, but then I did limit Our Summer to Southern street riding filmed over 3 months lol!! Best of luck! Jonny.
-
Awesome! Bring back bashguarding and stoppies... ok stoppies never went away or anything but yeah haha! Ace! J.
-
MORE LIKE THIS MORE LIKE THIS!!!!!! Its like yes!!! NO sidehops and NO taps hahaha! Quality work there Mr Andy! DOGGY!!! lol! JJ.
-
Ahh yes mate! Id like it too if anybody can track it down, cos it wasn't the classical one that is kinda meant to be the 'original', it was 'remixed' by whatever punk band back then (I think lol). J.
-
Errrmmm... I think he did something like that but when I had a Leeson it was Matt Tongue's ex-frame and it had XTR cranks..... ahh bugger completely thinking of a different crank set lmao! What a plonker, yeap think you are the first to produce an independant guard! Good work haha! JJ.
-
Yup I loved the trailer when it came out, ace use of After Effects (I think)! Gonna have to buy one of these! On a little post-it note, I still wouldn't have called it 'Trials Is Dead', OK for the rider community, but not great for on-lookers that are interested in getting into the sport etc. Congrats to the makers for getting it global etc! Jonny.
-
Looks sweet Steve, hope it sells well!! I think the very first independantly produced splined b-guard was made by Clive Leeson wasn't it? Although it didn't exactly go commercial/mass produced lol! So yeah, nice one dude! JJ.
-
Apparently theres one two-hour show per day, thats it - should be interesting though, the riders will be nackered by the end of the first hour! Don't know this for sure though, Giles needs to post something on here I recon, the arena is his responsibility this year. JJ.
-
Yup im there! J.
-
Noo its me! Ive recently got new glasses and I had a Britney Spears moment in the barbers and had a grade 1 on top, 0.5 on the back and sides lol! What do you mean, Si, about 3 of the same thing? Im guessing you know of 3 other sites that look the same? Its all about the work though surely? Site is only there as a platform, my Mum likes it anyway LMFAO! JJ.
-
True! I went through about 3 different working sites before getting to this. Im just a fan of black and white, and a load of other video production company websites are of a similar colour scheme, I think it just works - if it aint broke... I guess the linear aspect of it is based on the lines you get in video resolution, be it 500 (dv) 625 (full pal tv) or 1080 (hd). Thats my justification anyway. Thanks for all the comments so far people! JJ.

Just thought I'd tell you people about the site ive been working on for the last two weeks. Its my portfolio site. The structure is basic but I like the blacks, whites and greys. Uses simply html and css. Theres most of my past work on there, mostly non-trials. Let me know what you think, im open to constructive criticism if there is any. www.jonnyjones.co.uk Cheers! Jonny.
