oh my god how close do you wanna get to your shiny new camera haha! I could actually play that no problem at all! Footage was ace, good little video overall! Jonny.

Yo! This time round it wasn't shot on my HDV camera, as my mate is borrowing it for a project. This was shot on a Canon MV960 Mini DV, standard definition camcorder. Its ok for just point and shoot stuff but it doesn't have any threads on the front for lenses etc - no manual focus either!! My HDV camera is a Sony HVR-A1E. Pretty decent camera, comes with professional XLR audio inputs which was partly the selling point for me, as well as it recording 1080i HDV. Id recommend it! However the camera Inur has is a Canon HV20, this does 1080p24 which is why TRA's video looked so damn amazing, whereas mine only does 1080i - p = progressive (no interlacing, more detail and stuff lol) i = interlaced (standard hdv recording). The HV20 is cheaper than mine (mine was £1600) so if you're on a budget the Canon is prob your best bet. Oh also I use Final Cut Pro - Mac. Cheers for the comments, had no idea people would like it this much haha! Jonny.

Oh yeah I remember Tim. He emailed me after I made the Bike Battle video, he thought it was really well made and to be honest it made me smile for days, cos I was really only just finding my feet with videos and stuff and that coming from somebody big at Red Bull was just amazing! Cheers for all the effort you put into that contest Matt! Just need to get more stuff on Channel 4 / Extreme channel for Trials, as there's nothing EVER, which can only be bad for the sport. Jonny.

Yeah ive really no idea what happened to the two copies I sent you after the first one never arrived (2 in total, not 3 copies haha). But didn't we come to the conclusion that your country's sensorship board must have got hold of them or something? It does suck you never got to see it. The overall run time was in the region of 45mins. JJ.

Yeah pretty speedy build! But I can't believe you got a Zhi when you had an Ashton?! Down-grading in my opinion, but thats literally just my opinion cos I love my Ashton and the Zhi just seems like another DD (Deng Design) - sorry JJ.

Personal opinions are of course always welcome, but Elliot has let me know that the tubes they use are called 'OX Supertherm' and are quote "18 to 39% stronger than Reynolds 725 (in tensile strength)" - R.725 is the tubes Clive uses apparently? So they might be a little stronger than the Leeson frames? I love Clive for the effort he puts in and the frames he makes, don't get me wrong, but these might be a better alternative if you can't wait ages for your frame to be made - seeing as they are 'basically the same'. JJ.

Nope the Hook Woods stuff is still on there, its about a 6 or 7 min segment I think from memory. Its fair enough if u find interviews boring, ain't for everybody obviously. I'll let you all know when there are developments, hopefully this week sometime! JJ.

OK looks like people are interested, so it will be via PayPal or personal cheque, like last time. Just need to organise stuff. J.

I'll have to see mate. If enough people are interested, thats why i posted first rather than make them up first. JJ.

Heya! I was bored today so I went out in town (how original lol) and just shot a few bits and bobs. Due to the fact my mate STILL has my HD camera, I used my Canon MV960 DV camcorder. I bought this primarily as a recording device for footage produced by my Bullet Cam, and so the quality from the CCD isn't great on this camcorder, just to let you know. http://tv.isg.si/site/filebrowser/jonnyjones - FarnhamShort.mov YouTube - Like I say, nothing special, but seeing as im just getting back into riding (kinda) from seriously injuring my ankle 10 weeks ago you'll have to forgive me for not giving your eyes much to look at haha! Cheers! Jonny.

I eventually got an iPod as I have a Mac and it made sense to get it as it syncs really easily with my computer. Based on this, I'm guessing that doesn't really make me stupid I used to own a Zen Touch 20GB and it was ace, but I fell out with Windows and so I just ignored any other MP3/Video player on the market when choosing my iPod. Also, when you have magazines such as T3 (obviously containing trusted reviews) absolutely loving the iPod over the Zen, Zune etc, it pretty much lets people know what to invest their money in. Each to their own I guess, im certain you use a PC - if so, completely understandable why you've got a Zen (plus iTunes - so ive heard - doesn't run that well on Windows?... or people just prefer WMP). Sorry for going on haha, but I just didn't like how you just added 'Stupid people' . EDIT: Actually thinking about it a bit more, you're like my mate Greg, he loves anything by Creative etc, so im guessing you were just messing haha. JJ.

Got nothing at the mo, im guessing once the website is complete everything will be up there. J.

Hey people! Ive been in touch, after some time, with Elliot, the guy behind Ridden Clothing. He's sent me a link to their new website and there are some photos of their new frame on there. The frame/company will be called 'Reset' - looks pretty sweet to me, take a look at the site here - http://www.resetthisworld.com P.S. I wasn't sure what sub-forum to post this in, but seeing as there's a website involved as well I'm guessing its cool to stick it in here! JJ.

That has completely put me off my carrot cake. Best stacks ever for sure, one of Goddard and Pratt ive never seen! J.

Looks like you're getting on with the new bike, nice one J.

Very naice! Love that dude, good work! J.

Some mad riding there, looks like some shots were from the Red Bull Rampage. It did have a slight 'MBUK Anti-Gravity' feel to it, as every single clip was slo-mo haha! J.
-
Hope you're kidding dude, don't think you would appreciate if somebody dropped off your truck, slightly disrespectful, but then it is you, so I wouldn't be surprised if you had done! JJ.
-
To be honest 2/3rds of a page was all I was expecting. There's barely any Trials in MBUK nowadays, very annoying and not good for the sport at all! Ive had a few ideas surrounding this but it would need a lot of time and money and would need the help of a lot of people - basically a Trials specific mag that doesn't just disappear (BTM for example lol). J.

Glad you found time between showers, seems never ending this weather! Ace pics, good times! JJ.

I lent my camera to a mate cos he was doing a documentary at Glastonbury and he's still capturing the footage (as now we've finished Uni he couldn't get hold of an HDV camera to capture the footage with) - so as soon as I get it back ill be capturing the footage and putting an edit together! Sorry for the wait once again! JJ.

Michael Singleton did EVERYTHING. Just goes to show how much talent we have in our community! JJ.
