    Ntsc Dvds

Hello, basically I want to purchase a collection of DVDs which are only available in the NTSC or regional 1 format. I only watch DVDs on my pc, so what I want to know if there is any problem in doing so? Are DVD drives in PCs set to a regional format? Are there any other problems that might stop me from being able to watch an NTSC DVD? Any help is appreciated! Oh and I have looked on google and previous posts but to no avail... Ben
  2. That was very well written, I think. To be honest, you've left me with a sense of shock at what you experienced. I really respect your efforts which I'm not so sure I could done myself in the same situation. When I was kid I saw a women accidently reverse into her husband as he was loading his golf clubs into the car. The sound of his head hitting the concrete was not nice. I was unable to do anything, except stand and stare, despite the fact I was standing nearest. Anyway, I hope you feel better soon. I know how traumatic events can effect you. I guess perhaps you might have to wait a little whilefor the majority of those sensations to fade although I suppose you'll never really lose all of them. At least that'll probably mean you'll never drink and drive.
  3. I shall be there! Well hopefully.
  4. I don't finish college until 3. If you're still about then though? I suppose I could probably bunk off early What's your number, I shall give you a shout when I've finished.
  5. Buggar I'm in Swindon, would have loved to otherwise. Sunday is good for me Jon? Monkeyboy, my number is 07796563952. Let me know if you fancy a ride at some point. What's you number, if you don't mind giving it to me?
  6. As the title says, anyone fancy a ride in Bristol this weekend? I've managed to fix my bike, it's running lurvly and I'd like to ride. Lemme know...
  7. Rough and quite shocking. You never think that it really can happen even though you're always putting yourself moments away from such damage. Makes me not want to ride... I hope he gets better.
  8. I was very impressed with that. You seem to be miles ahead of everyone. My only quibble is that I feel I would be more impressed if the scences were shot undistorted. Fisheye is cool but I can't really judge the obstacles you are riding with precision It removes meaning that I suspect would otherwise make your vids even more inspiring. Personal preference though eh? Just keep doing what's good for you.
  9. Will you guys take my number and give me a call when you're about please? I will probably bring my camera out and film your riding
  10. But of course, really good stuff Nice one Matt
  11. I inevitably very much enjoyed that Good work
  12. I'm in Swindon today and feeling all the more frustrated (to the addition of actually being here) for missing out on a ride Glad to know there are a few locals though. My number is 07796563952 if anyone wants a ride at any point
  13. Like the title says, can anyone recommend what sort of bb I should get? I have the change the one in my bike because it's currently too short. I have very little money but I want to at least get something that won't break in five minutes. I was looking at the "Shimano LX UN53 Sqr Taper" and the "Shimano XT UN73 Sqr Taper" at £14 and £18 respectively. Are these any good and is it worth spening the extra amount on the second? If these are both totally inadequate for trials then what is recommended. I'm sorry but I don't have time to search through older posts that may potentially answer my question. I'm having a bad, rushed day! Thanks in advance!
  14. Hello PEople, Was hoping somebody might be up for riding this weekend. I haven't really managed much riding since I moved here and I'm desperate to get out. Anyone up for it? And are there any locals in bristol beside rowan?

    Sex.

Something is only ammoral is you choose to make it ammoral. I'd personally ignore the randomly defined laws of our society. Think for yourself, have some fun
  16. Hello, I have tried the search engine, but to no avail (I'm not willing to spend the rest of my life searching for a potential post). I have an onza t-raptor but it is without a booster and therefore the brake is a bit poo. The standard magura boosters don't seem to be wide enough. I forgot to measure the frame/brake hole distance and the bike is in Bristol, I am in Swindon, so I can't choose one with of a seemingly fitting size. Can anyone recommend a booster, especially of the cheap variety? If somebody could help asap it would be appreciated. I'm off to bristol in an hour and a half and i won't have any internet access until after the weekend to order a booster. Cheers chaps Ben
  17. The riding was very impressive. I found the video was let down by the filming and quality. The camera was held to high in a lot of shots so you were unable to understand the object that was being ridden. Good job though nick
  18. I might expose myself for this event.
  19. Well, the plan was so; this Thursday in fact. However, my girlfriend has just stormed out of the house about five minutes ago. We both exchanged words to the effect that our relationship is not desirable. I accidentally let the cat sleep on my bed duvet and she has allergies. This is supposedly enough to end a relationship. I try my best not to stereotype but my experience thus far is that women are a bit loopy. I'm sure it will sort itself out. Anyway, I'm on the lookout for a new trials bike so I can ride with you bristol chaps. At the very least I'll be out filming or something
